hallo my friend,

i'm using Catads 1.4 module on my site (http://www.24net.gr - site is closed for refreshing).

the XOOPS version is 2.2.3.

Everything seems to be ok but i wonder if there is a way to use the koivi editor into my module. i don't want to use the default xoop's editor but i want a new one with more avantages.

do you have any idea how can i use a good editor into the module?

Hi tempo,

I have same your case before and i'm just do the following:
1. uploading catads 1.4 files over old files.
2. give /images/ads/ CHMOD 777
3. Update catads module from admin panel.

and now it's working fine with all my old ads

thanks but i have a problem.
i can't see the photo fields into the "Add an ad" form.
I think that the system use the old one template

i'm trying to understand the update progress (for each on of the updates packages).

1. move the files to the server overwriting any of the existing files

2. run a script or not?

another question: i check but i can't found the update 2.0.13.2 ---> 2.2.3 . is there any update or not?

Hallo,

i want to upgrade for 2.0.7.3 (this is the current version of my sitehttp://www.24net.gr ) to 2.2.3

i think that the way is:

2.0.7.3 ---> 2.0.9.2 ---> 2.0.10 ---> 2.0.12a ---> 2.0.13 ---> 2.0.13.1 ---> 2.0.13.2 ---> 2.2.3

i must run all the above updates.
How can i update, can you explain the steps? i run a only a php script or must edit some files?

Is there any other (easier) way?

Of course i don't want to loose my site's registered users!

another question: i check but i can't found the update 2.0.13.2 ---> 2.2.3 . Do i miss something?

thanks for the support and sorry for my English

Everything OK!!!!!!!

i try to move & copy all my user's data from my XOOPS site to the new test-installation of XOOPS.

Impossible !!!!!!!

i think that there is a way to move the data from XOOPS -> XOOPS (newer version).

It is very bad from the administrators to change CMS because they don't want to loose all the users.

Please check this!

i'm using SQL syntax editing, i'm transfering all the data on the correct field but the problem is: the data don't regognised by XOOPS. i mean that the DBase (the table xoops_users) is full of data (like uname, pass, e-mail) but there is only one user on XOOPS user lists.

Please help me....is there anybody who make this transfer with no problems or bugs?
