Well, i tried last version, and i was almost sure it was a problem due to safe mode restrictions imposed on my server....but i deleted photos and thumbs directories, created then again "by hand", set permission, and, voila, everything was OK.....

Hello !

I'd like to know if it's possible to update the MySQL from 1.3.10 to 2.0.4.. Philou tried to help me, but it seems there's a problem to access on the main page.

OK to tape log and pass, but after, XOOPS tell me immediatly that i have no right to acces to main page (News is present on main page) .

Please, help us !!

The search block is part of the core and can be found in the blocks admin and also you need to set permissions in the groups admin, for which or all groups to be able to view the search block.

Admin ---> system admin ---> Groups <--- set group rights.
Admin ---> system admin ---> Blocks <--- set blocks live.

Same bug in Freecontent 2.1 and Agenda-X 1.2

Both are attributing each submission to EVERY user rather than to the person who submitted the doc or calendar event.

Any ideas?

A Search block?

I have been experimenting with the XOOPS 2.0 demo on www.opensourcecms.com . This is supposed to be a default installation, but there is no Search box. I have logged in as admin but I cannot figure out how to create a Search block. Is it supposed to be in a default install? Can someone point me in the right direction on enabling a Search box?

System Admin icon don't appears at administration menu

After some time the System Admin icon don't appears at Administration menu.
I can access the resource by direct URL.
The last changes were made in the group permissions.
What maybe can to be wrong?

You could use this kinda mod or even the MYADs mod, which is a classified listings mod, however I don't think there are any mods which would do what you wish spec. with exchange of goods. Although you could make a bit of tweaking to make it do as you wish.

My 1st XOOPS site is ready. Need db migration from IPB original to IPB for xoop module, before public announcement.

Now this new one, probably my last development using XOOPS . A community site. I am not sure what I am looking for get with the module dottie developed.

The objective of this website is to provide a community service where individuals can exchange their favorites without spending money. It follows the path of major portals like EBay and Half.com but with a difference that instead of paying for an auction an individual can exchange his/her items for an item of same or different category. The objective is simple instead of throwing or dumping the stuff we don’t need we exchange them for other items.

To start with there’s no charge associated with any registrations or transactions. The idea is to build a community based on the places we live and create a virtual exchange community platform.

Top posters block suddenly disappeared, though I didn't make any changes to any blocks, neither did I change permissions. I searched the blocks admin, but the block is completely gone! Updated the system module, but still nothing.
I want to create a new top posters block..How can I do that?
