what could be the reason for this and how to fix it?

Alot of these modules when downloaded are in zip form, and with that the files are placed in a 2nd folder with the same name but not spelled the same.

second question:
i uploaded a ready made templates of the manies available,
have set it as default template in preferences, but still the XOOPS standard template appears :((
How to change that?

are you refering to the themes or templates?
eather way, the themes or templates have there own names, and with this you can only call on the one theme or templat that you picked.
sence you picked default, you got the oem XOOPS template.
if you picked say test template you would get the test template,
this would be the same with the themes.

and my third question:
which module can I use in order to genarate a sitemap,
like it is possible with typo3?

do a surch in the search box for ( sitemap )
youll come accrost a link to the modules.
https://xoops.org/modules/repository/singlefile.php?cid=62&lid=1567

Thanks a lot in advance!

recently i have notice the need for a module such as the phpbb's & ipb's Garage mod. or the phpnuke's profiles mod.
these modules or mods should be part of ones profiles.

for the rapidly growing automotive site's and for other enthusiusts sites.

Bare with me on this story...

sometime in 2004 i change from a phpnuke user to a XOOPS user. and for this i knew i would have problems. with changing my members, content, forums, ect. over to xoops.
so i made a copy of the sql db, i used this db to find out what the changes needed to be.
with shock i found that with a small amount of searching i found a small site that has a modified version of phpbb2 that worked in xoops. ( knowing that phpnuke uses phpbb2 for the forums ) this small site was bbpixel
to my suprise i found the missing link to make the merg from phpnuke to xoops.
it was a timely ordeal, but it was worth it.

what im saying is.

if you find waht you realy want, theres always a way.

you can take the mybb and have it changed to phpbb then have it changed to newbb, newbb2, x-ipb-223, x-phpbb.
but for things like this you must remember, you do it at your own risk, and alway back up you files.

did you read the posts?
did you check the links?
did you read the derections?

it does more then make "modules" turn into "md"
that was a example.

heres another.
i just made a sample site for someone on the x-php mod.
heres the mod if you would have had it.

http://www.northernneons.com/x27/modules/pbboard/

and now heres the same placce with the rewrite added to it.

Ok, I had the old release of XOOPS running, but I needed it installed in the main directory, so I could not use fantastico. Hence the new vs.

Now I would like to install avantgo, ecal, RSSFit_1.1, xoops2-mod_contact_plus_v0_8_mario_figge, X-PBB-Module_1.23b.

It's as though they do not work with the new vs of xoops.

Does anybody know of a calendar, rss feed (outgoing), contact module, and forum (preferrably phpbb) that work with the new system?

Thanks,
Chris

if you used fantastico then you would have 2.0.13.1
the last version x-phpbb was made for was 2.0.9.2
