I know beggers can't be choosers, but I know that I have been very impressed by the new modules that have come out for xoops. These new module are very functional and add a great deal to the site. The modules wow the visitors, but the themes still seem to be lacking. I for one would be very greatful if someone could take on the duty of getting some really good themes for XOOPS or if you could point me in the right direction. I have been to montisarts.com who does a really good job as well as a few of the others. I would like to see some more modern themes with some very detailed graphics. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Where do you set the mime types for xoops. I want to allow .torrent files and have it give the mime type application/x-bittorrent but right now it's giving text/plain. Where do I change this?

it is not any specific module. I have tried several different modules. I have 3 different sites. I have one XOOPS site under the main directory http://www.tveps.org and another one on http://www.tveps.org/test. Modules that I upload to "test" work, but ones that I upload to the regular site are not working. I know that I have the permissions set properly, and I know that it's not the module I am uploading because the same module works on one site, but not the other. Whatever part of the XOOPS script recongnizes new files under http://www.yoursite.com/modules and displays that module in the admin panel is not working on my site. (at least that's what I'm thinking) can someone please tell me if I'm on the right track here.

I hope somebody backs me up on this, but I think a torrent module is badly needed out there. I know there are several php trackers out there, in fact I use one myself. If there is a way someone could port one of these php trackers into XOOPS that would be really cool. I would be willing to help in anyway I can. I think the demand for this kind of module is larger than most think. Anyone agree?

I have downloaded a module and I have used cuteftp to upload the files. I have kept the directory of the files like they should and when I go to modules in the admin panel the modules are not showing up. I have tried to upload several different modules and still I get the same problem. I have tried to upload the modules using drag and drop with IE and still the same problem. The files are definately on the server, but XOOPS is not seeing them in the admin panel. Does anyone know what causes this and how to fix it?

I have a site using XOOPS version 2 and suddenly i noticed that the systems icon under the admin panel has disappeared. I have an icon for all the other modules, but can not make any general system changes (ie. blocks, edit users, prefrences) the only way I can get to this is by typing the url manually. I also noticed that certain blocks on my home page had changed. (like in the block for "top posters" i had avatars disable and now they are enable) Is there some way a person can hack your site and gain controll of the systems module and then remove it from your list, cause that's what it looks like they have done. I am pretty new to XOOPS and am hoping that someone can help me with this issue. If you have question let me know.

I have tried:

updating the systems module
reuploading the systems module trough ftp
and a few other things.

Please help

I am looking for a module that would allow people to upload to my tracker or just list a torrent link...It doesn't have to be using my tracker. If you know of any module like this please let me know.

P.S.---I would like it show seeds, leechers, completed downloads, etc.
