Re: Installation of webmailfx 1.0 rc1

I have the same problem after having chmodded all the files as directed. Here is what php debug shows when I try to update the config page but nothing saves:

Warning [PHP]: ob_start(): output handler 'ob_gzhandler' cannot be used after 'URL-Rewriter' in file include/cp_functions.php line 33
Notice [PHP]: Undefined index: current in file modules/webmailfx/class/tabs.php line 283
Notice [PHP]: Undefined index: current in file modules/webmailfx/class/tabs.php line 283

running PHP 4.3.8
mysql 12.22
FreeBSD 4.9
perl, 5.8.3

Could this be a redirect problem?

Re:download module and .mov, mpg, quicktime player

thanks for the advice. i checked the mime types on my server and they include .mov and .mpeg files, so i don't think that is the problem. the movies are not truly streaming, they play as they download.

I forgot to mention that this problem only occurs when the user clicks on the download link, which utilizes a redirect to the download file. I have included the exact same link as the Home Page link in each download area, and if the user clicks on this, the file will download and play normally.

You can check it out here:

http://www.hotdogblog.com/modules/mydownloads/

Clicking on the "download icon or link" will result in an error for .mpeg and .mov but will initiate play for .wmv files. If the user clicks on the "HomePage" URL, the files will download and play normally.

download module and .mov, mpg, quicktime player

i search all over the site and couldn't find prior posts on this issue. I am having trouble getting mydownloads 1.04 module to redirect properly to .mpg and .mov files. when a user clicks on the download link, it comes up with garbled text, when it should initiate QuickTime to play the file. Other file types that play in Windows Media Player work fine.

Anyone seen this behavior? I tried to use the debug feature but it didn't give any information on the dead pages. Running 2.0.7.3

xcgal upload problem: create/order albums and modify my albums buttons link to blank page

Oops. I posted this to the usage forum rather than here, so here goes again:

my dogs have a site for users to upload albums. they have only been able to get the batch upload feature working to create albums and upload pictures. when a regular registered user tries to create an album by hitting the button, it goes to a blank page. When the "upload picture" link is selected, the site delivers a response "there are no albums you are authorized to upload to" or something to that effect. the site runs on XOOPS 2.07.

debug result is:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/maxandcl/public_html/modules/xcgal/albmgr.php on line 109
Notice [PHP]: Undefined index: search in file modules/xoogle/include/xoogle.php line 328
Notice [PHP]: Undefined index: query in file modules/xoogle/blocks/xoogle_search_block.php line 22
Notice [PHP]: Use of undefined constant _XO_SEARCH_LABEL - assumed '_XO_SEARCH_LABEL' in file modules/xoogle/blocks/xoogle_search_block.php line 28

if anyone has experienced this issue and knows the fix, max and cleo would be very appreciative.

thanks!

Re: XDirectory Problem - address fields don't add to dbase

thanks again to builderb! the submit and modlink.php fixes worked like a charm!

Only one outstanding issue on my implementation of xdir: hitting the email button drawing contact.php results in a blank page. Debug gives only the following message:

Notice [PHP]: Undefined variable: lid in file modules/xdirectory/contact.php line 50

any ideas out there would be much appreciated.

cheers.

XDirectory Problem - address fields don't add to dbase

I'm having a problem with xdirectory in which data that is submitted in certain fields doesn't make it into the dbase. The only fields that work are: Business name, Fax, Website, Category, and Description.

For some reason I can't figure out, Address, City, State, Zip, Country, Phone, and email fields do not function. On modify and submit pages, these are "yellowed" out as inactive? The dbase in mySQL seems fine.

How do I activate these fields? Running XOOPS 2.0.7, MySQL 12.22/4.0.16, and php 4.3.4

see example at:http://www.hotdogblog.com/modules/xdirectory/modlink.php?lid=1336

and:

Any help is greatly appreciated in advance!

Re: Mediashow problem

will someone please email me or post an example of what should be showing up in the video.txt or audio.txt files in the modules/mediashow/sql/? I am still having problems getting the audio or video to play. It appears that the player cannot determine the link location for the files. I thought it was a redirect problem, but it is not. I assume something should get written to the video.txt and audio.txt file when you upload videos or audio files to instruct the player where to find files. . . is this true and if so, what? or does this function take place elsewhere?

thanks a lot. . .i'm going to get this thing to work on my site if it kills me.
