Xoops 2.4.4 upgrade issues with modules

I have upgraded to xoops 2.4.4 and now have the following issues: modules:

I have wf-channel 2.06 beta and wf-resource 2.05, I am now unable to EDIT anything in that mod; when I click edit the page does not move.

Also my smartfaq 1.08 no longer works.

Any suggestions?

Can I Merge User Accounts

I have two accounts on the site; a account that is a registered user and one that is Admin.

Is it possible to transfer all postings from one account to another and then have each mod update and reflect the new posting count?

Also would I do this by modifying my sql file, if so what precautions would be necessary?

If you see different IPs logging into a use account from several IPs all at the same time. How do I prevent / ban / block this from happening?

Is this what the protector mod is for? I have Protector v3.5.
Also I get the following errors for the protector settings page

Warning: require_once(XOOPS_ROOT_PATH/class/pagenav.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in ..../modules/protector/admin/index.php on line 3

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'XOOPS_ROOT_PATH/class/pagenav.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/php5/lib/php') in ....../modules/protector/admin/index.php on line

Once again I solved my own problem LOL... I recenlty made one change in the Forum Preferences as follows

Forum for welcoming new user - A profile post will be published when a user visits Forum module for the first time

I chose a forum and this caused the error; that should not cause an error but it did.

You have to leave this at NONE

If anyone knows how to select a forum without the error please let me know.

Sudden Blank Page for Registered Users only - Newbb 3.08

Hi it seems I am the only one that can view my forums. All of all sudden registered users and guests see a blank page.

All permissions are still in tact
I have cleaned the cache
Optimized the database
Sync the forums
Updated the system module
Updated the Forum module

I am using Xoops 2.3.3b, Newbb 3.08

Please assist

I forgot to mention, if you use the above changes your doorway site will have all its registrations automatically redirected to the main site. Therefore all registrations will go to the main site's database, or, whatever link you put in the redirect text.

Hi Guys,
I solved the problem as follows:

(1) Your Xoops install folder/themes/your theme/xotpl/userbar.html

(2) Open the userbar.html page using notepad, delete all text and replace it with this

<div id="xo-userbar">
+ <a href="<{xoAppUrl /register.php}>" class="register" title="Register">Register</a>
</div>

(3) Now go to
Your xoops install folder/register.php

(4) Open the register.php using notepad, delete all text and replace with this

<div id="xo-userbar">
+ <a href="<{xoAppUrl /register.php}>" class="register" title="Register">Register</a>
</div>

the .ca was created simply for the search engines; it has a front page and no modules; at face value it looks exactly the same as the .com

It uses xoops 2.4.4 so whatever mods came with the installation, that is what is there. the main one (.com) is xoops 2.3

it is basically a doorway page
