Im going use XHLD for the RSS but is there a module or block already built to pull the headlines to the main site?? or do I need to build one

Hope that make sense. There may already be one that I dont know about, but I have searched and havent been able to find one.

The way I use to do it is each subdomain has a RSS then I would pull that to the main site. Is there something like that already?? Heres the trick though, as I am pulling from about 8 different subdomains, I want only the top two headlines from each one.

Also would like to do this with reviews, and downloads. ANy suggestions??

For some reason it will not allow me to upload any files. The link for new downloads just refreshes the page and nothing else.

If I cant fix this problem is there another download module that I can look at??

For the moment I have found WF -Downloads. This looks exciting and has a lot more too it.

Thank you Biteronboard, if you dont mind would you keep me abreast of what you have coming out, as I might be interested in some of them. I hope I can help around here a little bit, as I get use to the CMS, im sure I will be contributing more.

I am most interested in a theme for the main page as it is the one I want with the most "WOW" effect, at the moment I like what we have for the subdomains

I agree but we have now been around for about 2 years, just thought it needed an overhaul. Found XOOPS and really liked the layout verses others that we have used in the past. Also I(a novice) seems to be able to follow the code easier and we can modify things much quicker.
