New XOOPS site featuring the new instant-zero module Bookshop. this is a site developed for a non-profit. The theme is a modified kubrick design. It features a wordpress module, a cloned smartpartner module, content, liaise, rss fit, a modified "quotes" module, and a wf-downloads module in conjunction with feedblitz.com (through wf-download's category specific RSS Feed) to deliver a pdf newsletter to over 2,000 subscribers.

We are probably a week out from officially launching. Tell me what you think about the theme, site, etc. thanks in advance for your input. I was shooting for clean and contemporary, nothing too fancy but certainly professional.

the site ishttp://churchdr.org

We are hoping to launch their other site at the same time. This is a site to correspond with the release of a book and is built in wordpress. It is a simple site with about 5 static pages, a contact form, and the blog portion.

The second site ishttp://jesusenterprise.churchdr.org

I realize the second site is not xoops, but if you stumble upon it, let me know what you think just the same.

OK, I know the XOOPS forums is probable not the place for this but......

I am trying to wrap some type of php analytics program into a XOOPS module for a client. this client is a non-profit whos login area will be restricted to employees and board members. If it were up to me, I could set them up some sort of simple stats program so the "inside guys" can keep track of their web site usage. I have found a stats program that I got to work with the exception that I need to initiate a "cron job" to run an update file at midnight every day.

Not knowing even the right questions to ask, can someone point me in the right direction. Just to make things easier, I am using GoDaddy.com and have no access above my public folder.

I would appreciate any assistance.

Let us know what you want to duplicate, and I am guessing we can come up with an answer in xoops. I looked at Joomla very hard before I made the decision to "go xoops". I could not find much at all that you couldn't do with XOOPS that joomla offers. Even if XOOPS does not offer it, fins a php script and wrap it into your XOOPS site. It's that easy.

Looks like maybe Joomla? The RSS feeds block in the bottom right makes me think so. Nice looking site.

OK, that stopped the double bullets. It left the ">>" and took away the "dot". It certainly looks alot better. But the ">>" does not display in IE.

If I got to choose, I would take away the ">>" and leave the "dot".

thanks for the help.

Hopefully some of you CSS Gurus can point me in the right direction here. My site is displaying double bullets in the unordered lists. This is happening only in Firefox (I know for sure it is not in IE, maybe it is in others). While this is not the end of the world, I would like to fix it.

I know just enough CSS to be dangerous and I have exhausted my means of trying to figure this out. It is displaying the "dot" and also the ">>". I would like it to display only the "dot".

I appreciate in advance any help.

You can see the problem athttp://churchdr.org . This site is not launched yet but should be in about 2 weeks.

If you are just trying to frame this script into your XOOPS site, the easiest thing to do is use a "pagewrap module". This is an empty module that you can use to wrap custom content into your XOOPS site easily. I have the module saved in the downloads section of my site (http://xoops.mattregister.com ). I do not remember wher eI found it but I saved it because it was hard to find.

Take that module and change the name of the directory, alter the xoops_version.php file to match the directory name you just changed, and put your iframe into the index.php file. Upload and install like any other module.

I have this module wrapping google calendars, maps, and a copy of tiny web gallery.

MODERATORS: This comes up so often in discussions in this forum, is there a way to explain this in the documentation?
