SmartSection Catagories not being recognized

Hi everyone! I searched for this in the forums, but could not find it. I am having an interesting problem with SmartSection (2.13). In the admin panel for Smart Section it is not seeing any categories, but if I look at the database, the categories (previously setup) are all there. The list of categories are being pulled for the front page, but when you click on a blog entry, it's saying page not found. Any ideas?

I looked at permissions and don't see any problems. As far as I can tell the database has all the correct information in it, so I can't figure out why the code isn't pulling it all of a sudden.

Thank you all for your help! I'm almost there! I have removed the proxy statement. You're right, that didn't make any sense.

It seems the anonymous user can create an entry but never gets to see the list of results. Is there a permission I'm missing? I think this is the last item that I'm missing in order to get this going.

I'm so excited to get this working. For the Nintendo DS, you get a seperate friend's code for each game. It's very difficult to find a website where codes are all in one place. So I am trying to provide this to draw more people to the site.

*hugs* Thank you all for the help! I'm going to be working hard on this and hopefully I'll figure it out too! But I still need help.

Okay so now I seem to have the option in the form menu showing .

The current problem is that when you are anonymous, you are unable to get the form in order to make an addition to the database. I am unable to see what the problem is now. I looked at all the permissions and everything seems in order.

Any suggestions?

Hi! The form menu is not showing additional forms.

You can see it here on the left hand side:http://www.gamingangels.com/modules/newbb/

I have a second form called Pokemon Friend Codes that isn't showing anywhere even though it is under the same General Forms category.

It is in position 2 and saved as active.

I am in the webmaster group and when I look at permissions, view_Form and a ton of other permissions are there.

Any ideas? Thank you so much for at least reading about my problem!

Formulize module menu help

Hi! I just installed the newest Formulize (version 2.2). I enjoy this module, but I only had one form up. Today I tried to enter a second form, and am completely unable to get the second form to show up in the menu. Has anyone else had this problem? I searched this forum and another one. I also read through the manual and the code. But I am unable to figure it out.

Does XOOPS have any working blog module? I have tried three of them so far and none of them seem to work. I need to add the ability for my users to blog and am considering changing CMS because of this. Also XOOPS seems to be dead. There doesn't seem to be much support for as many people that use it.

Hi! Thank you both for reading and responding to my post! I appreciate it. Yes, I have looked at that module but it's not what I need. I have very talented volunteers who are making their own comics that are geared toward the site's theme (female gamers).

I can probably create a table and write my own PHP code to do this, but how do I keep the look of site the same? Or maybe I'm asking how I would go about creating a module?

Again thank you for your help and thanks for the compliment on the site. I have so much work to do on it! hehe

Need help with Comic page and setting up review page using WF-Section

Hi! I have two questions. I have searched and searched and can not find any answers. My website is a gaming community: GamingAngels
1) Does anyone have a comic module? I basically need to show a comic and have the ability to move forward and backward through the comics. I would hate to use image gallery because that's not the same functionality.

2) I am using WF-Section for articles and reviews. I am trying to make the reviews look a certain way (like a typical video game site) and I can't seem to get that to work. I've made a template html page, but I cannot edit it in the editor. So do I need to make an html page for each review?

Also, it seems to be that XOOPS is losing it's development support. The modules are all either old, not updated anymore, or completly broken. Is there a group of people updating the site? Doing some housekeeping? Or is it time to change CMS packages before I get to involved in the site?

I am now getting the same error message. I have never installed an auto-hack. I don't have many modules at all and am now getting that error. Please respond if you have any fix for this.

I did a repair on my tables too.
