Anyone have the table layout for a two column theme?

I'm fairly new to designing themes and am having a hell of a time moving everything around to get the layout to appear correctly.

I've designed a two column theme where I want the right and the left columns on the left with all of the center content on the right.

The problem I'm having is that I think I've figured that the content layout is actually several tables nested inside each other (am I right) and I'm not sure which IF statement or TD ID goes where if I move things to where I want them....does that make sense?

So, if anyone has a two column table layout I'd REALLY appreciate it.

I have drawn up a theme for a gaming website.

The image can be found athttp://www.nssclan.org/clansite.png

I have the theme up at the sitehttp://www.nssclan.org and choose the nssclan theme.

I think that I'm slicing the image incorrectly to place the content on the site properly.

Any ideas on how "you" would slice this up if "you" were building is site?

Thanks,
Dave

could someone look at my site choose nssclan theme and let me know where you think I should make changes so that it look correct?

I can't get the graphics for the center boxes to show up. They're supposed to look like the boxes on the left.

This is my first full graphic theme so pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Drawing the site and creating the boxes was the easy part. The hard part was desiding how to slice the image properly.

ANY pointers would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Dave

The site to check out is for a gaming clanhttp://www.nssclan.org

Can't figure it out for the life of me.

I have found no way to upload videos. I've found no way to put videos I've ftp'd to the server.

Anyone have any documentation on how to use this module or where files are supposed to be stored?

Nevermind...I'm such a noob sometimes.

Is there a hack or a module that can be added to the user's profile that allows them to choose their default theme?

What I mean is, once the user logs into the site, the theme is set to the one the user would choose from their profile.

It won't be in my next revision. I originally changed it to a the blue of our logo but at that time I knew how to make the graphics but didn't know how to properly slice an image and build the tables for that type of theme.

What I think is cool is that XOOPS "looks" complicated but once you really start experimenting with it it really is quite easy.

For those that are looking to learn how to design their own themes for XOOPS I HIGHLY recommend you start by playing around with the default theme.

Thanks for the input so far.

Actually, I've modified/made my first two three themes.

I'd like some opinions on the themes that I've modified.

I modified default to create ns clean.

Then (starting with default again) I actually added some graphical boxes to the right and left columns to create nsclean_blocked

And finally, I modified the Blue Shine one. I just replaced the header graphics there.

Check'em out and let me know what you think.

Hopefully I'll soon be able to create some really nice graphical elements and not just the boxes.

So you recommend Multimenu module?

It just seemed so confusing.

Is there a way to add a page to the main menu without creating a new block of menues?

I added it to the main menu but it actuall creates submenu then I have to click that menu to open the next menu to get to pages that I created.

I've tried many combinations without success.
