Included in the user's profile is the section for module loops allowing the user's entries for the modules included to be added to the user's profile.

What I need help with is how do I include a module in loop that does not seem to have been built to already be included. What I am wanting to do is add the favorites list from the MLS Friends module to the user's profile. Are there tutorials or anything to assist me in doing this? What/where is it in the module that makes it show up in the module loop in the profile module?

msdana,

Thanks for the reply. I hadn't noticed but is only in some themes. I guess I wasn't clicking on the right themes to catch it yesterday. Thanks for pointing that out as simple minded as it was and I should have caught it. ha-ha

Anyway, thanks again and have a great weekend.

Thanks jensclas, I have installed it in a different directory and linked to it that way which I don't really mind. The primary issue for me is that I would prefer the user have only one login and for the moodle info to show in the users profile the way other activity by the user does.

I have searched and searched and can find nothing on this. Is there a way that I can make the site I'm working on automatically take a logged in user to their own main profile page upon login versus the site's main index page as it currently stands?

Large Top Margin On Module Pages

I have noticed something that isn't a big problem but something I would very much like to change and can't seem to find where to edit to make the change.

On the index page of my son's site everything aligns evenly along the top just fine. This meaning the left - middle - right columns / blocks. On the module pages they seem to appear to have a top margin set so that the module / middle of the page begins at a considerably lower height than the left and right blocks making the whole page look kind of off. I have noticed that this appears to be the case with all modules I have installed and was wondering if the issue is in XOOPS somewhere that I could edit the code a bit to even the module pages up to look like the index page. Thanks up front for the help.

Info Or Help Wanted 4 Moodle4Xoops Module

I recently found a bit of info on the Moodle4Xoops module in my search in hopes of adding such a teacher / student type module to my son's website. I have tried a couple other modules out there in this category but the Moodle4Xoops is the one I would prefer. With that said, In my search I found a XOOPS user who had the file Moodle4Xoops 1.4.5 version that I have now installed and have found the following listed items to be issues when installed with the site using XOOPS version 2.2.3a. My guess is because XOOPS has moved forward in its developement with upgrades, etc. but the Moodle4Xoops module has not been updated to keep up with Xoops.

Thus far I am finding:
- I continue to get the error msg "ERROR: You need to create the directory /uploads/moodledata with web server write access" when I have already done so.
- It will not retain my login from page to page as if it were a cookie issue but I've checked that and it is fine. I also have Moodle installed in a differnt directory on this site and it works fine for me.
- When I try to log back in as the admin it gives me the "Invalid login, please try again", forcing me to have a new password emailed to me. After logging back it, it yet again will not retain my log in.
- It seems that no one has permission to access the Moodle4Xoops module except for the admin but I double checked group permissions and I have it set so that every group has permission to access the module.
- The Moodle4Xoops module seems to require a completely seperate registration from the XOOPS site its self requiring two seperate registrations. It would be most helpful if the user were auto-logged in via their login to the site its self as with other modules.
- I am finding the Moodle4Xoops listed in the XOOPS > admin > preferences but not listed in XOOPS > admin > modules although I realize this is probably intended but point it out just in case it is not.

I am knowledgable in html but more a webmonkey when it comes to php and MySQL so help and advice would be great.
If there is anyone who might give me some guidence on these issues or anyone who is currently using the Moodle4Xoops module and has it working correctly; advice, suggestions, working with me or any help at all please as I would love to use this module.

Thank you for your time in this matter,
Lana

Good for you McNaz. In my opinion, everyone needs to follow your lead. The world has become to much business and not enough of what is truly important.

I do not necessarily need to integrate the 2 modules but I would like to add the user's personal page created with userpage . . .
http://www.igotoptions.com/modules/userpage/index.php?page_id=3
to the userinfo.php page in profiles . . .
http://www.igotoptions.com/modules/profile/userinfo.php?uid=3

If anyone has any advice, suggestions or may know of a tutorial I would really appreciate it.

Thanks up front,
Lana
