Hi all
The default setting for the New Users and Top Posters is to show "10"

No matter how many times I set them to show "3" .. they keep popping back to "10" (after a while).

I am saving the changes correctly. At first it works .. then changes after a few page reloads.

Is there a file I can hard code the "3" into for these blocks?

Using XOOPS 2.0.13.2
Thanx

Ok .. all done (except content) heeded criticism .. what do you guys think now? .. I was thinking of making several different "Welcome Blocks" and change them through admin every couple of weeks or so. The first one at the moment was a 10 minute job .. so I'll fix that soon.

Hi
Increasing the padding in the css has no effect (all 3 css files)

Can't do it in theme.html either.

<!-- Start center-center blocks loop -->
<{foreach item=block from=$xoops_ccblocks}>
<table cellspacing="1" cellpadding="5">
<tr>
<td class="blockTitle">&nbsp;<{$block.title}></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td class="blockContent"><{$block.content}></td>
</tr>
</table>
<{/foreach}>
<!-- End center-center blocks loop -->

</td>
</tr>
<br>

Putting the break there results in a break between the header and the first center block. I've tried putting it at different other places with no effect.

i.e .. after <{/foreach}> .. after <{$block.content}></td>
</tr>
</table> etc.

If I put it after <{$block.content}> .. it has no effect also.
I tried updating the system module in admin each time too .. no effect.

Any ideas anyone?

Hi
I'm using the phpaox theme in XOOPS 20.13.2

All the blocks in the left and center columns merge into each other. I know its the design .. but is there any way to put a break / space between them?

I'm pretty good at html .. but for the life of me I can't see how or where to put a "<br>" in the theme.html. For the left system blocks maybe I could stick an empty cell on the bottom of its template with a spacer gif. But I'm not too worried about them .. its the custom blocks in the center I want spaces between. I suppose they are stored in the data base?

Any ideas? .. You can see my main page from the URL in my signature below.

Thanx.

Hi
My site is only a few months old .. I was using PhpNuke and MyBB Forum but got fed up with it .. especially the search function and a few other things. Then I discovered XOOPS! Perfect! (well almost).

I had to transfer my members and forum posts over by hand (could'nt find a convertor) but I've only got about 30 members so far so it was'nt such a hassle .. couple of days!!

Just opened it "for business" today! .. closed down the old site.

Its an Info and forum site for expats and visitors to Thailand.

It's basically finished .. just have to finish transfering the rest of the Information content, maps etc over from the old site.

I have a "Sister Site" called "Thaiglish" a Thai language Tutor site .. have'nt finished it yet. I'ts not "XOOPS" .. just html/php .. but I have made it look identical to the XOOPS site. There is a link to it in the nav bar on top.

WARNING .. The "Night Life" section of the forum may contain some "Mature" content. The rest of it is pretty tame.

Link is in my Signature below.

Thanks for that .. but I just found it. I looked at the page source (should have done that ages ago! .. stupid me) and the newbb.css was in the "include" folder .. the only one I did'nt look in .. just was'nt expecting it to be there.

All fixed! .. thanks for helping.

Now that I have XOOPS all setup / modified to my satisfaction I want to delete all the files not in use .. images etc.

I think the answer to this question is "Yes" .. but can I delete all the "sql" folders?

Thanx

Hi
There is no "newbb.css" file in the newbb folder or any of its sub-folders. There is no css file of any name in the newbb folder.

I have looked at every css file I can find on my site (except for the themes I'm not using)

EDIT
By the way .. I'm using NewBB 2.0 RC2 .. forgot to mention that (doh!) .. it has no "newbb.css" file.

It's gotta be somewhere.
