hello,

how do i do the "categorized" latest/recent news? like in the frontpage of xoops.org...
like here in the pic:

right now, i have the default Recent News Block for AMS 2.41 (article management system)

how do i go about changing the block so that it would display something like in xoops.org (the screenshot)

lets say i have 4 main categories for my News.
Category A
Category B
Category C
Category D

is it possible to display it like this in the HOME PAGE only???

new custom theme == blank screen

hello,

i made a copy of the default theme on the /themes folder.
i edited it.

Update module template .html files from themes/your theme/templates directory? <-- i changed to YES

when i reloaded my xoops, the page is blank...

why?

i have read the temlate documentation. i cant find any reason why it displays blank instead of my custom theme...
