These module have the Alpha Menu and one may be better than the other for you purpose.

http://www.wf-projects.com/modules/wfdownloads/

I am only familiar with WF-Downloads but will use it as an example...
Rock Bands (Cat1) > Band Name1 (Sub1) > Lyrics1 (sSub1)
                                       >
Lyrics2 (sSub2)

                   >
Band Name2 (Sub2) > Lyrics1 (sSub1)
                                       >
Lyrics2 (sSub2)
                                       >
Lyrics3 (sSub3)

Blues Bands (Cat2) > Band Name1 (Sub1) > Lyrics1 (sSub1)
                                       >
Lyrics2 (sSub2)

                   >
Band Name2 (Sub2) > Lyrics1 (sSub1)
                                       >
Lyrics2 (sSub2)
                                       >
Lyrics3 (sSub3)

Let me know of your progress.

Check out this link
http://dev.xoops.org/modules/phpwiki/index.php/Commentsystem

It should not be too hard to add comments. It may be easier to get the first two steps by looking at the url of the page you want to add comments.

You will see the page name and the id number within the url.

I plan on trying this in the next few days, it appears to be straight-forward.

rajaito,
You could possibly do it. Check this link out
http://dev.xoops.org/modules/phpwiki/index.php/Commentsystem
Now that you said it, I want it for my site. I will make an attempt at this soon. I would like to give it a try now but I am launching a new site. If you can't get it, please wait patiently for I will keep you posted on my progress.

Can you please post a link to your site using the theme with 'no tables'?

I am designing a new theme with tables and want to replicate it with NO tables. I could use an example.

You have spelled "centre" the Canadian way!
<div class="centre">

<div class="centre">
<!-- Start center-center blocks loop -->
<{foreach item=block from=$xoops_ccblocks}>
<{include file="default/theme_blockcenter_c.html"}>
<{/foreach}>
<!-- End center-center blocks loop -->
</div>

Search trough your css for "centre", maybe it is "center".

ps. Very Funny Post Title

I can't remember the html tag that displays the current page url. I searched around the net but couldn't find it. When you find it, add it where there is <XXXXX> below.
<a href="mailto:?subject=Recommended Page at <{$xoops_sitename}>&body=Recommended Page at <XXXXX>

Placed code directly in your theme templates.
Please let me know if anybody knows of this tag.

Sorry, I did not understand this post,
script_fu wroteQuote:
Now what if we take the data about the data that NoAh can see in the database. Then display that data in a different manner aka tables to make new content the way we want to use it?

but I see what your saying with your new post.

Great brainstorming script_fu and thanks for the info.

Scott (wfsection),

When I start development on a new module, I will take you up on your offer. Thank you very much for hearing my calls for help.

Where do I go? Who do I contact?
Thanks again.

Themes: Main Layout: Tables Vs. Div

I am building a new theme for my band site.

What are the advantages by using div tags over tables for the main layout (the 3 columns) of the theme.html file?

The major thing I am worried about, when using div tags, is the compatiblity with old browsers. Half my users are not up to date with technology.

I have noticed that div tags can spill their contents when their width is compressed. For this reason I think I will use tables.

Any comments?

it is not cross-browser compatible. That sucks.
