I'm very content with the new extended profiles and happily adding fields.... but... how can I make the options in the SELECT fields language independent (i.e. add tags like everywhere else in XOOPS as options to choose from and have them replaced in the site by the selected language tags)

Maybe someone out here has done this before:

I am building two sites (virtual hosts on the same dedicated server). I would like to add user accounts from within site 1 for site 2... (Site 1 is a closed group "control/information" site; Site 2 is a public information site with access control). I would also like to enable/disable a block on site 2 (again from within site 1). I am thinking to build a module for this, but maybe it will spare me from a lot of testing if someone has tried this before and is willing to share their experiences...
