Suppose i want a visitor to click a link, and the new page opens up.. But i want the new page to be wrapped out inside the basic theme of my site..

How can i achieve this? Please could anyone tell me how to do this? :)

Actually.. I forgot.. I have a better option.. I've installed a test system in my computer namely Easy PHP 1.7.7 so that we could test out scripts locally.. So if i upgrade it in my system and find no probs, then it should be working remotely as well.. Am i not correct?? .. But does it have any thing to do with the PHP version unless until PHP5 becomes compliant??

Hi...

I'm new to the groups of Xoopsers.. I'm currently using 2.0.7.3 on my googul.net..

Just saw that XOOPS is getting ready with 2.0.9 with beta already released so that we all can make our codes php5 compliant.. However my question is...

Will an upgrade cause the existing modules not to work? or any such possible problems? Plese give me an insight on this...

Thnx in advance :)

You in the system administration panel preferences or the newbb forum admin preferences. There is no option for the view in my newbb admin preferences, only notification block preference, and in the system preference> General settings, the flat, nested and threaded is for comments. I tried all three, but it didn't solve the problem.

Is the newbb rc2 good? What more does it have?

Hi Xoopsers out there..

I just now tried installing the newbb forum in my site. I made a test thread and a reply for it. The reply is shown as a link below the actual post. Isn't there any way to list it as a post insted of the link. The actual post and all the replies in a same page!

I believe it's the flat view. I don't see any option to change that. Please help me!

I'm using Xoops 2.0.7.3 and the newbb i got along with it.. i guess the version is 1.4.4

What to do? Any quick insights?

I don't find the normal kind of href there.. however href tag does exist.. but it is listed this way:

<a href="'+full_url+'">'+symTnames[i]+'</a><br />');

I made it like this just for a test:

<a href="'+full_url+'" target="_blank">'+symTnames[i]+'</a><br />');

But the result is the same..

So any idea??? :-/

I just downloaded the module Symantec Alert Block 1.0. It is quite a handy block, however the only change i would like regarding that is the alerts when clicked should open in a window. I tried this module in my system using Easy PHP, and it gets opened up in the same window driving away the surfer.

To make it open in new window, i hope there should be a small edit (there was an option to edit the template - so i feel it's in there). Can anyone tell me how to do that?
