Turned out it was my version of ff that didnt play well with fb cookies..

Seems the buggy behaviour is to do with FB logging users off once they click away from the site..
(I made a simple html page to test it, and indeed users are logged off once they cleck away from the fb iframe..

Anyone might know of a workaround..?

Hi,

Am trying to use the XOOPS facebook module:

https://xoops.org/modules/news/article.php?storyid=3998

It seems to work fine except one annoying thing:

If you click away from it, to go to another area on the site, users get logged out of facebook and have to keep RE-logging in..

Any idea why it does this and any possible way to work around it..?

2.0.18 doesnt send emails - HELP

Hi,

I have just installed 2.0.18, and it doesn't send email notifications for forum replies.

For the forum I use cbb 3.08. I know it might be an issue with cbb - however, since I use it on other installations, notably XOOPS 2.0.15 - and it works fine, I wonder if its the current XOOPS version.

A while back I had a similar problem with 2.0.16 and was told that its the XOOPS version, and that it will be fixed..

Any ideas..?

Hi,

I noticed that XOOPS Cube makes use of XOOPS_TRUST_PATH for better security.
Is that something XOOPS going to address, embrace?
ideas..?

Why such despair..?

Only today I have recomended an organisation to move their site from drupal to xoops. The stuff they want to do, forums, social networks and calendar is far easier and friendlier on xoops.

YUp. I've noticed the iframe module. Might follow your suggestion..

I noticed a drupal module that makes a drupal site into a facebook application.
This enables people on facebook who install the app on their profiles, to read content from the drupal site - and put content without having to login to the drupal site but directly from facebook.

Is there something similar in XOOPS that someone's trying to develop? (Haven't seen a module announce here..)

Anyone might be interested to co-develop...?

(maybe not for fb but opensocial standards..?)

searched for answers for the following questions, but couldn't find..

* How do I change the disclaimer people see on the registration form..?

* How do I change the details new users receive in the User activation key email..?
