I have done a few test and, since I didn't modify anything else, I suppose that it was the cause, because now it is working well.
I hope so.

Yes.

Which type of problems could it be?

It's ok.

Already done.

In my mainfile.php there is this definition:
define('XOOPS_URL''http://www.positivamente.it');
Is it correct?

My News module is Version 1.55.

Quest
Since my site is in italian I show you the values of the variables in my modinfo.php
_MI_EDIT_TIMELIMIT 60
_MI_RECORDEDIT_TIMELIMIT
30
_MI_DELETE_TIMELIMIT
60
_MI_POST_TIMELIMIT
30

I didn't find other variables regarding time limit.

Some other idea?

PS: Before I posted this post, I changed the "Privacy level" into the "Internet properties" panel, from Medium high to Medium and the post was posted normally.
Could it be the problem?

The user stays logged in, but the post is not admitted.

Ok,
My problem is that when the session time-out occurs, nobody can login anymore, until I truncate the xoops_session table.

In my case A subsequent submit after the error message will not do the post, and the user do not stay logged in.

Look that even in this forum it do not the post.
To post this reply I had to logout and than login again.

User login time is handled by the session settings in the system general preferences.
NewBB has a separate configuration for its posting time (default is 15(?) minutes).

I can't find the NewBB posting time parameter.
Do you have some idea?

Ok, I know this

Hi,
I am using XOOPS 2.0.18.1 and NewBB 3.08

It happens that if a user is writing a post and the session time-out expire, the post is not added ... but no user can log-in anymore.

THe login seems ok but the user is not logged in and his nik appear into the "online users" box.

So I have to empty (truncate) the xoops_session table everytime.

Is there a solution?

Thanks.
I hope my english is clear enought.

Hi,
when a user (webmaster included) trys to insert an article using Smartsection, Internet Explorer crashes, just after the article was inserted.
If I use Firefox everything is ok.

I am trying on a PC with Windows XP pro Sp1 and EasyPHP1-8, XOOPS 2.0.18.1, and Smartsection 2.13

It happens also on the on-line site.

Somebody has any idea on why or where should I serch for something that make IE crashing?

Thanks to everyone!

I have installed SmartSection and it works.
Then I have installed the utility "Importing from XFSection to SmartSection" but when I try to import the article db I find the only option for "News 1.1".

I use WF-Section, not XFSection but in the forum linked by Bender they talk about that utility.

What am I missing to do? or What I didn't understand?

P.S. Sorry for my English (I am italian)

Hi everyone.

I have XOOPS 2.0.16 and wfsection 1.01

I have just tryed to overwrite the old wfsection with the new version and then the wfsection update into the "System Admin".
The result is that it does not works!

In the wfsection option index, there are not the labels but I see only the variables name.

If I try the "wfsection configure" I get this message:

"This page cannot be displayed due to an internal error.

You can provide the following information to the administrators of this site to help them solve the problem:

Error: _AD_DBERROR:

SELECT graphicspath, sgraphicspath, htmlpath, filesbasepath, filebasepathtemp, logopath FROM xoops_wfs_config
"

If I try to view the articles I get this message:

"This page cannot be displayed due to an internal error.

You can provide the following information to the administrators of this site to help them solve the problem:

Error: Error while creating wfsection pages:

SELECT * FROM xoops_wfs_indexpage WHERE indid=1
"

Looking into the db I don't find the "xoops_wfs_indexpage" table.

Can someone help me?
Just tell me the right way for updating wfsection ...

Thanks a lot,
Marco

OK! I got it!!!!!!!

The blank page was because the newbb_index.html file was empty!!!!!

I don't know why ... I don't know how .... but ... it was ..

Now I would like to know from phppp why you have changed my Default Template set from Positivo to default, and why doing this change it works!

Because Positivo is the template derived from ipb by clone and that I modified a little about the banner that you see on the top of every page.

I mean, how it is possible that now the default template has the same changes that I did into Positivo? And why default works and Positivo not?

Anyway I thank you a lot for your help!!!!
Tank you so much!!!
