Wow. That did it. You're awesome! I tried something similar with the system_block_user.html but that didn't seem to do anything, but your advice worked perfectly.

I thank you very much!

Nope, it's not that. The text is simply not there, but the link is. Check out the HTML:

Quote:
<td id="usermenu">
<a class="menuTop" href="http://eastmillbrookms.wcpss.net/user.php">View Account</a>
<a href="http://eastmillbrookms.wcpss.net/edituser.php">Edit Account</a>
<a href="http://eastmillbrookms.wcpss.net/notifications.php">Notifications</a>
<a href="http://eastmillbrookms.wcpss.net/user.php?op=logout">Logout</a>
<a href="http://eastmillbrookms.wcpss.net/viewpmsg.php">Inbox</a>

<a href="http://eastmillbrookms.wcpss.net/admin.php"></a>

</td>

I am running 2.0.7 and having a similar problem. When logged in as somone in the "Webmaster" group, there is a link called "Administration Menu" in the User Menu. The problem is I have another group that has access only to one module under "Module Admin Rights" and one in the "System Admin Rights" but when someone logs in that is in this group, they do not get an "Administration Menu" link in their User menu. What is really wierd is if you click where that link should be it takes you to the admin section.

So anyone know why the text "Administration Menu" does not show for people in other groups?

Thanks for your help!

I am still having the same problem. The URL is:

http://www.altra-recordings.com

Anyone have any ideas why XOOPS embedded in an iframe would stop the authentication process?

You were right ackbarr, It was my xoops_session table. I repaired it with myphpAdmin and it's happy again. Thanks for your help, guys!

We have been running on a XOOPS setup for a little less than a year and it has been great. Yesterday, however, everything started taking a REALLY long time to load, and sometimes it wouldn't load at all.

The server ran out of memory, according to our head web guy. He fixed that, but now today, while the front page loads fine, when you try to log in, it simply drops you back to the start page, but not logged in. We don't have Norton Firewall running or any software firewall that I am aware of.

Can anyone help out a poor public middle school webmaster?

I have an HTML index page that calls the XOOPS index.php(which i renamed to home.php) in an iframe. My problem is that once I log in and then click on a module link, it says I don't have permission and logs me back out. If I load the home.php XOOPS page directly it works fine, and the iframe works fine in Firefox, just not in IE. Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Thanks!

xoopsmembers list emails

Hello,

I am trying to get xoopsmembers to not display a button for peoples emails, but instead list the text so people can copy and paste the address. I got it to list the email by doing the following, but the mailto: part isn't working....any ideas what I missed?(I do not know php well)

line 303:
$userdata['email'] = "<a href='mailto:".$foundusers[$j]->getVar("email")."'>" ? $foundusers[$j]->getVar("email") : "</a>";

Here's the page:
http://ccms.wcpss.net/home/modules/xoopsmembers/index.php

Ideally, I would like it to list it in such a way as to keep spambots from picking up these emails, but I'll try that part next, unless anyone has an idea about that.

Thanks for youe help!
