Hi !

When you decide to developp your module, what's the base you use ?
Can you attach a zip file with your empty module... ;)

Thx a lot and have a nice day

there´s a great online-tool for that. it generates empty modules suiting your own needs: [KLICK]

excerpt from the readme file included in the module:

Go in each [color=FF0000]theme.html[/colorfile and add in the footer part of XOOPS the following code

Example resulting from the Default XOOPS theme:

          <
table width="100%" cellspacing="0">
        <
tr id="footerbar">
          <
td><a href="https://xoops.org/" target="_blank"><img src="<{$xoops_imageurl}>poweredby.gif" alt="" /></a>
            <{if
$xoops_isadmin != 1}>
              <
script type="text/Javascript">
          <!--

istat = new Image(1,1);

istat.src "http://YOUR_XOOPS_SITE_URL/modules/istats/include/counter.php?sw="+screen.width+"&sc="+screen.colorDepth+"&refer="+escape(document.referrer)+"&page="+location.href;

//-->

</script>
        <{/if}>
          </
td>
        </
tr>
          </
table>
    </
body>
    </
html>

This code will allow the stats module to count.

if you miss that step, the module will not be counting!

in the admin section simply use "system - groups" to adjust the appropriate rights for the group "anonymous users".

you could use the xt_temas module. it provides a block, wehere users can select and "remember" their themes.
it can be found [HERE]

this is just a guess, but as it happened to me before, i might be right. if i´m not, don´t kill me

maybe it´s a "folder in the folder"-problem? make sure you have the module folders (admin, language etc.) directly in the xoops-chat folder, and not another xoops-chat-folder in it. this sometimes happens while expanding the archive (at least it does to me!) and then transfering the wrong folder-structure...

it provides an upload solution.
