my site won't let me access the adminstration menu.

what could i do??

and... the forum is not allowing posts either.

Help anyone? please.

i'm using version 2 and all i see in Meta Tags and Footer is;
Meta keywords
Meta Description
Meta Robots
Meta Rating
Meta Author
Meta Copyright
Footer

all i wanted was add something in the footer [site owner's name]

btw, am i allowed to have copyrights under my own site's name, or does it HAVE to be for xoops?

I dont wanna change the XOOPS copyrights thing, but i just need to add a few words "Site owned by so and so" ... but its NOT working...
i went to Prefrences/ meta tags and footer... but its not doing any thing! what am i doing wrong?

hello everyone...

first off may i just say that i really love xoops, makes life easier for ppl like me who have not enough experience on web managment "yet" but passionate to learn on the job...

ok, my question...
i wanted my site to show everything at the start page, like... everything that comes up once you log in... is it possible to do that, if so how?

cuz at the moment "News" is my start page... and ppl wont be able to see the other stuff unless they log in...

help!

Somebody Please help me out...


Directory uploads/ is NOT writable.
Directory cache/ is NOT writable.
Directory templates_c/ is NOT writable.
File mainfile.php is NOT writable.


In order for the modules included in the package to work correctly, the following files must be writeable by the server. Please change the permission setting for these files. (i.e. 'chmod 666 file_name' and 'chmod 777 dir_name' on a UNIX/LINUX server, or check the properties of the file and make sure the read-only flag is not set on a Windows server)
