No, we're talking about different things, I had a different error from PHPDebug.
And I've finally tracked mine down. Mine came from the Flash/Real addon at this
urlThere's apparently a problem with the replacement xoopscode.php in the includes directory.

Replacing that with the stock xoopscodes.php that came with the 2.0.7 core returned my editing fuinctions to me!
Now, if someone with more experience in php tham me could figure out what's going on here....
