I copied a theme, then edited the graphic files to produce the simple look I wanted. I am just learning this so I figured this was the easiest way to make a theme, however here is my problem. My graphic on the bottom of each block is stretched. I have tried editing the html for the left and right blocks to change the dimensions of the graphics to match the dimensions of the graphic files. No matter what I do, it still turns out stretched. Please look at my site and let me know what you think is my problem.

maybe something is wrong with my .htaccess file? I had copied this site from directory (/home/davis/) to the new one (/home/shogunat/). It used to be accessible fromhttp://www.blackmoonskeep.net/shogunate and is now athttp://www.shogunate.net . This is what my .htaccess file looks like, I believe I really need to fix some stuff.

I am working with my host on this. So hopefully it will be fixed. I am gonna give him this forum link to look at and see if it helps him at all. Also, when you said this may be a cache issue, what document do the two lines of code need to be edited into? Secondly, my host wants to know what perl script the login script uses.????

I get the same thing. I moved my site to a new domain and directory on my host. All seemed fine, however, I keep getting the login loop. sometimes it logs me in, sometimes it doesnt. dont know what the problem is. nothing has changed.

I am constantly logged off of my website and when I try to log back on, it just sends me back to the login screen. I just moved my site from one host to another and I thought it went by smooth. Maybe something corrupt in the db?

I dont know anything about this stuff, I am mainly just a user, so I don't even know where to start looking.

I just installed my Headlines (xoopsheadlines) Module to play around with it. The problem is, I suck at programming and haven't spent enough time learning how to do php programming and stuff. My question is:

How do you created a Headlines block first of all (maybe one that scrolls the Headlines), then how do I create my own Headlines?

Is it possible to edit the code so it will default show a certain user group and visible status in the Blocks Administration section? I hate always having to change groups and scroll through ALL the blocks whether they are visible or not.

Okay... I was looking at the CSS but for some reason I was overlooking that pc_bg.gif file. LOL! I changed it to black and now I am getting the look that I want. Or so it seems... now my concern is the padding between the blocks on the left and the blocks on the right.

please go tohttp://coldfire.blackmoonskeep.net and see if you can help me out. I want the whole background black, but it still has that default background that I cannot seem to find how to turn black. I know it is in the stylesheet somewhere but I cannot figure it out. I'm not too good with CSS.

Also... block padding. I think the padding between my left and righ blocks is too much. How do I reduce it? I know it will mean the space between the top blocks and the banner graphic will get smaller, I have a fix for that. And I am sure it is in the theme_blockleft.html and theme_blockright.html but I just dont know how to fix that either. It may be the CSS again. I am just giving up at this point and dealing with all these problems... any help?
