Include a html file withing a block

I would like a block on my front page (start module is news) that includes an external html page. I have tried the php block and inlcude statement but does not seem to work - neither does the html include virtual statement
Any ideas gratefully received

WF Downloads - not apearing as a module

After updloading wfdownloads to my server - it does not appear as a module to install - unless I rename it to something else
A similar module PD Downloads appears fine - any ideas on that one?

WFDownloads - no New FIle Option

I have installed WFDownloads (twice) on Version 2.015 and everything works Ok EXCEPT - there is no way to add file s- I am just preented with the list of file types and thats all

Any help gratefully received

15 xoops site compromised

Hi
this weel all 15 XOOPS sites on my host were compromised / exploited.

I dont have any more info amd I have restored all from backups and have them operational again. I need to upgrade them to reduce risk of a repeat.

How can I tell what version of XOOPS each site is using?

I will add to the theme.html file BUT I woudl still like to include another html file but I can't seem to find a mthod of including another file - have tried
<{include("filename.html")}>
I need the file to be external to the theme to allow some user editing.

Any ideas?

Happy New Year fellow xoopsers

I am trying to get a better layout for search engines on my site and was wondering if there a possible way to put something in prefences FOOTER to include another html file?

By this I mean I would like to have a separate page that I can easily edit and change to suit search engine keywords etc that i can have automatically included similar to php function include

Hi all
I have just upgraded to latest XOOPS and I just cannot see how to create new blocks - the settings are basically the same but ther is no area appearing to add the content.

I know it must be somethign stupidly simple but I cant see it

Any help gratefully recieved
