Registration Page Garbled

I've just setup xoops 2.4.5 and everything is working fine. There is a problem though with the registration process. Once a new user registers and clicks the Submit button, they are confronted with a page full of strange text characters. Normally this would show, "Thank you for registering with xoops and an email will be sent...." It is rather off putting for the new user. Even though the page is garbled, they do receive the email for activation.
Any suggestions, please, to show the correct page of information

Thanks

Sorry took a while to respond. I changed the editor to tinymc and then back to CKeditor and it worked fine. Not sure how but it did.
Thanks for info

No nothing to do with html source code. This is on the final saved page. I had created a Table in the edit content page. The only part of the whole page was a table, which I used to organize text on the page. When saved the top of the Table was halfway down the page and I had to scroll down just to see the text. If you can visualize from the bottom of the browser page, the table was about 2" up. There was nothing but white page above.
Any ideas how to "align" the Table to the top of the page.
Thanks

Thanks for the heads up on problem with x-center. I'm monitoring it. I'm happy with the content module and it's providing me with some useful tools. One problem tho' is that when I create content and use a Table to organize my pages, the Table starts halfway down the page. There is a lot of whitespace above the Table. Any thoughts on this, or is it part of the problem the other forum is encountering.
Cheers

Thanks for your speedy response. I have installed x-center and am presently testing it. So far it looks good. I may also try the other recommendations if this fails.
I'd spent days trying to solve this on my own, but login in to xoops for the answer has definitely paid off.
thank you

I have just installed xoops 2.4.5 and most of the old modules don't work now. I'm trying to create more than one page to position Blocks. I've heard of Ghost Fantome, Smartsection, Tinycontent and each of these don't work in the latest xoops. In fact most of them are 6 year old or more. If you know of how to make any of these work, or indeed a Module that will provide more than one page to hold Blocks, I would really appreciate it.
System overview:
Xoops 2.4.5
PHP 5.3.1
MySql 5.1.41
