I noticed that it you changed everything about the look of the calendar except for the default red color (#ff3333)that is used in the event header of the daily view. Did you keep that color because it cannot be changed? I was able to change all the colors on my calendar, except whenever I tried to change this color it screwed up the look of the site by showing the code in the header. It's very odd and I cannot figure out why it cannot be changed. I'd give up, but that red really doesn't go with the color palette I have chosen for my site. Anyone know why this is happening? Help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, I noticed after I made this change I see the "<br /><br />" in the event description that I made.

Here's a strange thing that I noticed. I compared the file that I modified with the original file in the xtCal folder by opening up both html files in my browser. When I did I noticed a discrepancy, wherein the file I modified listed this bit of code:
<{if $dayevents[i].id == $id}> style="background-color: #CC3333;"<{/if}>><{$dayevents[i].title}>

In the original file that line looks like this:
style="background-color: #ff3333;"<{/if}>><{$dayevents[i].title}>

There's no <{if $dayevents[i].id == $id}> line. But all I did was change the #ff3333, why does this cause the mix up?

Every time I try and change the color of the header in the daily view (located in templates/extcal_daily_view.htm)I mess up the header. The default is a red #FF3333. All I do is change the hex value of the color and it screws up the header and shows the code in the header.

Like so: style="background-color: #CC3333;">

The only thing I did was change the numbers. Does anyone know what gives with this? Can you only use that red color?

I am a graphic designer (and no, I wouldn't use MS Paint) but I don't have a lot of coding experience (as you can tell by my questions) but I am learning WF-Sections and I do think it's pretty complicated. But I also think it's worth it if you are going to have a site that really relies on various kinds of articles.

And remember, the WF people are working on some much needed documentation for the module too. So in my opinion, it's a good module, that is only getting better.

Oh, and one of the most important things that XOOPS can do is incorporate a cross-platform wysiwyg editor into the next version in my opinion.

I want to change the colors in the month and daily view of XtCal but I can't seem to figure out where to change the colors. Can someone tell me what files I need to look at. I couldn't find a CSS in the XtCal folder.

I feel your pain. I too am new to XOOPS--though I've been at it for a few months now. I did a lot of research before I chose XOOPS as my CMS and I think it's the best for my needs.

One initial source that helped me out a lot in the beginning washttp://www.macambridge.com/dummies/ Check it out.

This little mod looks great! It's simple and doesn't seem to be too "buggy." I cannot wait until there are some more features added to it, like recurring event, and the ability to easy control the look of it -- colors and such.

But right now, I have a question. When I typed in my event and time it shows me an "à" for the time. Right now what I get is this: Begin : Friday 17 September 2004 à 22:00

Is there a way to change that?

Thanks! That was painless. Now, where do you go to change the colors of the calendar in the month view? Is there a stylesheet or something?
