Marty.

Thanks!! I will look into it this weekend and see if I can figure out anything.

I will try to use what is already there as it appeared that there is a much newer version.

Thanks mate any help is very cool...I really like this module. Also, good luck with your Java course :)

Cheers,
Marty.

Hi again, it appears to be not working again...seams to be random or something. Sometimes it works and other times it doesn't.

My java version is: Version 6 Update 29 (build 1.6.0_29-b11)

This is really annoying lol. If I rotate a pic it definately wont insert into the gallery. But like I said just a straight upload works sometimes and not other times...even using the exact same pics.

Marty.

Hi, sorry I haven't replied as I was out of town for a few days.

I did try on a buddies PC and it worked fine.

I also checked the "show warning if needed" box in control panel and this appears to have fixed the problem.

Thankyou very much...you guys rock!!

Regards,
Marty.

Hi, I have no problems uploading a photo using the standard form. However when I use the extended form (java), the photos are uploading to the server/uploads/extgallery/public-photo/ folder but not displayed in the module. I get the below alert message for each photo upload. Wehn I click "OK" it will then upload the next photo but give the alert again and so on for each photo.

Resized Image

My current config is:

eXtGallery Version : 1.1.0
XOOPS Version : XOOPS 2.5.0 (OK)

Graphics GD library version : bundled (2.0.34 compatible)
GIF support : OK
JPEG support : OK
PNG support : OK

Upload max filesize : 50M
Post max size : 8M

Any help would be fantastic.

Cheers,
Marty.

Hi to all, it has been some time since I have used Xoops (so long it appears a few hundred posts also left the Xoops site LOL) but I want to create a new personal (family) website. It appears that not all modules in the repository are compatible. I have spent quite some time today downloading modules and installing them just to have to uninstal and delete them to try another.

I would love to get the Xoops News module to work but alas it does not.

I get the error:
Error : Smarty error: [in db:news_block_top.html line 915]: syntax error: unidentified token '#039;counter'' (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 1410).

I have replied to another post with a similar problem but it was a topic from a while ago and i'm afraid that it may be a dead end.

The AMS and TadGallery modules appears to work fine but I also need News. I am also finding it hard to get a video and music module to work. It seemed to be easier then this a few years ago.

Is there a list of modules that are 100% compatible with Xoops 2.5x? Or, am I missing something?

Cheers,
Marty.

I don't think this has been fixed yet.

I have xoops 2.5.3

I am getting this error:
Error : Smarty error: [in db:news_block_top.html line 915]: syntax error: unidentified token '#039;counter'' (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 1410)

Anyone have any ideas?

Hi guys, I am having trouble with xcgal. I am trying to batch add some pics in an album. I have uploaded the pics to a new directory and when I go to admin/xcgal/batch_add_pictures I get this error:
Fatal errorCannot redeclare scandir() in /home/marty/public_html/modules/xcgal/admin/searchnew.php on line 314

The code I have is:
308       if (count($dir_array) > 0){
309           foreach ($dir_array as $directory) {
310               scandir($dir.$directory.'/'$expic_array);
311           }
312       }
313       return $count;
314   }
315
316

Anyone know anything about this? Any help would be muchly apreciated.

Thanks for your time,
Marty
