I edited the theme colors and everything seems good, except the pop up window when you click on 'more' under the 'whos online' block. Its black text on a dk. grey background.

Where do I change this text color? and if I change it will it effect the text elsewhere?

thanks for any help

Generally, css uses Hex code (#333333), shorthand Hex (#333), or natural language (white, black, red). I believe you can also use RGB, but I've never used anything but hex and natural language.

If you want a great little "color ripper" that will capture the color of anything on your screen and output the appropriate hex value, Click Here. BTW... It's freeware.

Enjoy!

One quick follow up question, if you can use natural language "red", "blue" ,etc then why do ppl use hex?

I did a search for "Theme color codes" to no avail.

I have the theme 7dana-round and would like to change the orange text to something easier on the eyes. Is there a list somewhere of what colors = what codes in the .css file?

Any help appreciated.

Theme errors with AMS and NewBB2

Just a heads up -

I installed both the new AMS and NewBB2 final over the past two days and have encountered some theme incompatability issues with them.

The ones offhand I have discovered are 4thefort, EADJ2.1, fiblack3dblue, nwn2 and subblack.

With BB2 the pull down menus are always expanded and will not close.

With AMS the formatting on the front page is distorted/uneven.

FYI

I am not at home thus have not been able to check my mail :)

But I did try to go to that link you provided and it does not seem to be valid. If you can resubmit it I would appreciate it.

Thanks.

I see this in the .doc as well:

2 - Add in the *.css files of each theme the following classes:

.statstable { margin:0px; padding:0px; width:auto; font-size: small; font-weight: normal;}
.stats { vertical-align: bottom; width:625px; margin:0; border: 0;}
.statsimg { vertical-align: bottom; width:25px; text-align:center;}
.statsimgweekday { vertical-align: bottom; font-size: small; font-weight: normal;}
.statswords { border-width: 0; font-size: x-small; background-color: transparent; font-weight: normal; text-align:center; width:25px;}
.statsfore { width: 30%; padding:2px;}
.statsdiv { text-align:center; padding:0px;}
----

So I have to add those to all the *.css files in all my themes? Where do I put them? at the end of the file?

thanks for any input you can offer.

Did you read the doc ? You must add a script line in your theme or in your footer.

Almost caught me.. hehe.. I did acually after I posted this but it STILL does not seem to be counting anything.

This is what the end of my theme.html looks like:

<strong><small>
<a href="http://www.4thefort.com">Another</a> <a href="https://xoops.org">Xoops</a> <a href="http://www.4thefort.com">Theme from 4thefort - FortChaos</a></small></strong></center>
<hr>
<script type="text/Javascript">
<!--
istat = new Image(1,1);
istat.src = "http://<{$xoops_url}>/modules/istats/include/counter.php?sw="+screen.width+"&sc="+screen.colorDepth+"&referer="+escape(document.referrer)+"&page="+location.href;
//-->
</script>
</body>
</html>

------

I also wiped out the files in the templets_c cache. Any other ideas?
