Yeah i don´t know why so many programs have issues with large amounts of files. For the same reason i dropped SmartFTP.

Currently i am using filezilla.

So far so good ...

I have used filezilla for a long time and I have problems with that on uploads, it seems to corrupt the image files.

I have not tried SmartFTP, but by thre looks of it I will jnot be using it. I currently have had problems with Ipswich FTP, Filezilla, and CoreFTP

It is not my computer or server, as I have recently changed server believing that this was the problem, but it wasn't, so I tried uploading from a different connection at my mates house, and still the same.

I really don't know how to get around it.

Thanks for your comments anyway.

I think it would be a good idea to add an option for a rank chooser on the registration page, obviously the admin could choose what ranks can be chosen, but this would be good in cases like, where there are management roles, assistant managers, and different worker types, i.e. programmer, image editor, and so on....

This could be good, Reply if you think so.

2.0.13?

best way iz to download this version and take it from the downloaded XOOPS releas

Ok, I will do that then

I think it would be a good idea if they put Private Messaging in the Module Repository, it would be easier that way.

Cheers

Hi everyone

This is going to sound a bit stupid, but I need your help. I recently messed up the pribate messaging module on my update and deleted it as it was causing problems to the website. I don't have the module on my computer anymore to re-upload and re-install, so I need to know if anyone know where in the Module Repository it is kept as I have beemn looking for a while now.

Thanks In Advance

I know this may not be the perfect place for this post, but I am having problems with CoreFTP, which was reccomended on these forums, It uploads perfectly, no problems. When I go to download a XOOPS site, or anything come to that, it only downloads half of the requested files, even though ot says it has done them all.

Can anyone reccomend a decent FREE FTP program. One that doesn't have problems with downloads.

Thanks for your time guys and girls.

A bit harsh don't you think?
Again, c'est le ton qui fait la musique.

The module mylinks hasthis feature (setting within the module itself). Perhaps you can do something with that (piece of code)or adjust the module to your desires?

Grtz., Shine

Cheers for replying, trouble is im not a programmer that's why I use xoops, because it is so easy to use without being a programmer, I will take a look at myLinks and see what I can do myself. Cheers

Please Note: I did not mean to be harsh if it sounds that way. Sorry

I have just checked TinyContent out and it is no different from the content module I am using, it still doesn't allow you to show other pages with your frame on top. I don't think you know what I mean.

You should be able to understand it from the example I gave you.

It's just like Google Image Search, when you search for images and click on one of the results it has a frame and the page it came from underneath - a frame like that (not to do with images) just one that you can show different pages with your logo on the top frame.

Only reply if oyu know what i'm talking about.

I didn't know that, I will take a look now. Cheers

But wouldn't it be much better if XOOPS had that built in??
