change path from /apache2-default/* to /*

I've installed XOOPS as specified in the install guide but now if you click on my domain

www.aussienymeetup.net

it will take you to

www.aussienymeetup.net/apache2-default/*

how do i change this to

www.aussienymeetup.net/*

I'm assuming I need to change the XOOPS install from the www/apache2-default/* path to www/*

any help? thanks? (not sure why this isn't in the faq already, I searched maybe I'm just missing something.

is this problem goign to be the same for 2.2?

if so should I just install an older version, this is a new site, no content in there at the moment with all of the problems I think i should just use 2.2 or 2.013

Nope, sorry made the change this was the followup email.
Was I supposed to do anything once I made the change? I rebooted the server just in case.

1/ it is showing /apache2-default/ etc etc
2/ the link isn't complete because the domain isn't actually listed.

How do i get around this?

RC 2.2 Weather question

I have 2 questions, firstly this error appears at the bottom of the page, how do I fix this?

Notice [PHP]: Constant _MSW_B_INTHE already defined in file modules/ms_weather/language/english/blocks.php line 36

Second question weather appears in the right hand block with only the default, is it my imagination or was there a way in the past to have 2 cities listed at the same time?

hi, I had this problem as well but I found out it was related to running a linux apache XOOPS site behind an isa 2004 firewall and it not passing on headers correctly.

I'm finding same problem with everyone logging in to www.aussienymeetup.net

each time someone visits the page it sends them to the loging page regardless.

how can I fix this. I think it is because I'm behind isa 2004 and might be a cookie problem.

hi, I was able to use smtp (but not smtpauth).

my settings were to use smtp
internal ip address of the exchange server

no details in the username/password (these are only for auth).

because they are both on an internal lan works fine.

can anyone help here?

I also have just realised I have another (though probably related) problem.

Whenever I log open the site in a browser it brings me to the new registration page automatically even though I have already registered.

After I register it says sending email now, if I go back I get no entery details then I have to go to recovery page where it brings me back to register new user page when I next visit.

Any thoughts? starting to get frustrating.

nope, I tried both control refresh and copied across a new version of recovery.php error still occured (even after I rebooted server to make that wasn't the problem)

can anyone help?
