I haven't done any real testing with the XOOPS 2.2.x branch, so I can't say for sure. Make sure you have no spaces in your tags (you have them as [ extend] when it should be [extend]), and make sure that [extend] tag is the first tag you use.

My suggestion would be that if you want a list of XOOPS 2.2.x compatible modules compiled, then turn your words into action and kindly ask one of the site admins to make you list a sticky post in the forums. XOOPS 2.2 is THE biggest step for XOOPS since the initial 2.0 branch around three years ago.

Backup all your XOOPS files and your database, and you'll be able to rollback should it go off the rails. I find it is always a good idea to run a beta site which is an exact copy of your live production site to test on before making any significant changes.

Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone else was having trouble with not being able to turn off the fast reply in CBB 1.14? Doesn't seem to matter if I have it set on or off it still shows up...

Then you're about out of luck as I don't know of any other publically available and functional newsletter modules . You might want to look at using a dedicated list server for your newsletter, and then use a custom block in XOOPS to contin the subscribe and unsubscribe information.

You can set you default module to "none" in your XOOPS general preferences. This will remove the redirect.

You can edit the News template so that only the news item title is displayed. That is most certainly not a biggy.

You should be able to set custom images on a topic level. Not sure about per article level though, as I use AMS. You can use the built in XOOPS image manager to do this at any rate.

Not sure where to edit the date & time stamp format, never felt the need. I'm sure it is not too hard though.

Don't see there being too much of an issue to get the News module to display in a similar way to the site you linked to. It WILL take some effort on your behalf though to learn and work with the XOOPS system.
