I seem to be striking out with getting help around here, but I figure i'll ask anyways.

I was wondering how to put animated gifs in an image gallery. I don't really care about resizing for thumbnails because the files are relatively small already. I tried using xcGallery but it didn't work. Is there a certain module that supports animated gifs, or is there something I can do in xcGallery that will fix this problem?

Any help at all would be most apprectiated.

I've been working on my first XOOPS site and came across a problem. After you click to download a file, there's a blank web page that opens behind the "save" or "open" box. This blank page is unsightly and also has the direct URL to my file on it.
Here's what i'm talking about...http://www.slopeanime.com/main/modules/wfdownloads/viewcat.php?cid=1

I was wondering how to make that blank page dissapear without users ever seeing it.
here's an example what i mean...http://www.wf-projects.com/modules/wfdownloads/viewcat.php?cid=7

any help is most appreciated

I was wondering if there is an easy way to change the names of the themes in the themes block. I installed the ps2 theme, but would like the name in the theme block to say "blue" instead of "ps2" because my site has nothing to do with gaming.

any help is most appreciated

Hey brash. do you know how to remove that blank white page behind the "open" or "save" box? I want to get rid of it because it doesn't look good, but the blank page also shows the url of my download and i would like to keep that hidden... download page

also, do you know if it's possible to use an .htaccess file to check referrer information? i'm just curious if that can work in conjunction with the download script to further protect from leeching

I was wondering if there was any way that the Downloads module could be modified to have download limits based on usergroups. For example "registered users" could download 10 files a day and "advanced users" could download 15 files a day, etc.

I was also wondering how to hide the URL of the downloads to better prevent leeching. after clicking on a file, when the "save" or "open" box is open, the URL to the file is visible on the bottom of the redirected page.

thanks for reading this and keep up the good work
