I would also be interested about the smilie hack to get them into a panel instead of a long strip.
I know you can select which ones I want displayed but i would like to display them all (I have a few custom ones installed as well) without them going off the side of the screen.

I have a silly question regarding customising my homepage but can't find any answers from searching this forum.

My question is this, how can I configue my homepage to have a welcome message on the top (which never moves up or down), then say recent forum posts then show recent news below that. I have played with the blocks settings but i can't get a section on the top above the other items.

To calrify, look at XOOPS homepage, there is an area at the top which is what i'm looking to do "Welcome to XOOPS official website!" then all the rest like Recent Topics, Recent Comments then News which I can do fine.

It's the first bit I can't get working correctly.

Any and all help is appreciated.
