i had this problem too once, and i found that it was my firewall causing the loop. Did ya check your firewall?

This is a simple question, and id be happy to answer it. You are going to waaaaaay to much trouble to solve this.

When you create your block, or with the one you have already created, underneath the input field and above the submit button. there is a dropbox where you select the language or content type. You can choose between "html, php, Autoformat(smiliese enabled, AutoFormat(smilies disbled).

You would choose "auto format (smilies enabled)" And use standard [ img] tags around your pics code. cheers.

This is a great concept. Its always nice to see the cms being put to new uses. Kudos to you for being original.

I just went to your site goober. Its also nice to see XOOPS put to new uses. It may be the first step torward XOOPS powered porn sites.

well its all in the theme. header images or logos are often in an images folder inside of the theme folder. Simply write over it. To modify block size, well you are going to need to be more specific. what type of block?

its a setting that is changed in individual user profiles. if you log out your anaonymous users should see your "default settings. and i believe any new registrants will automatically have your new default as theirs. However your old users have to set this in their "edit profile" under "user menu"

ok you never told us which version of XOOPS you were using, but since you said you were using cbb 2.3 i am assuming that you are pushing 2.2. now about your new issues, it seems that you are having trouble navigating the groups pages, and in general this can be friustrating. Dont ya just wish that you could set the permissions for all the user groups for each module all at once? me too... oh wait you can try blocks admin. This module allows you to set the permission for every groups module access all at once. you just install it, hover over the logo and pick the module you want to administrate. all the module blocks are there as well as the module access and admin rights.

i have found that in some instances, adding a user to two groups gives both groups all the access of both groups. so for example if you have a user in your registered group and you also put him in the anonymous group all your anonymous users would be able to see and access everything that your registered users can. you would still be protected from anonymous posting and all that as long as you have those set.
