... may be a bug with clone product function ? Why I suspect this point ?
• not directly developed by Hervet if I well remember
• I use Oledrion on many websites, and never have such bug (local and production environments)
• I never used clone feature

When you choose a theme in system preferences, your choice is stored in database, in xxxxx_config table.

Example : default theme
Resized Image


So, verify into your table wich theme is recorded :
• if it is default, make sure you have www/themes/default/theme.html
• if it is zetagagenesis, make sure you have www/themes/zetagenesis/theme.html
• etc...


Edit : I haven't seen your last post ;)

About your top page problem,
- wich theme are you using now ?
- could you provide a link or a screenshot... I do not understand

What is the name of the theme or themes that you try to install?

You should verify that you have the correct path :
> www/themes/"your-new-theme"/theme.html

If you want your old theme (default), just :
> empty themes/your-new-theme folder
> copy inside content of themes/default folder

Do not forget to empty Xoops cache : delete all files inside xoops_cache/caches/smarty_compile/ (except index.html)

Demo would be an excellent help for new users. However there are some difficulties :
• a demosite requires regular updates (core & modules)
• one user can't do this work alone
• to be consistent, we should make demosite with modules included in Xoops packs

... in my opinion, it is an excellent idea, but are we ready to make it now ?

I believe we have to procede like this :
• 1st step : clean modules repository
• 2nd step : create Xoops packs
• 3rd step : if we can, make demosites


--- Commercial modules / license

Why don't we create a category for commercial modules ? It will be more clear for all users ?

That's an (other) excellent idea. I will create a new column for author website : I don't know if it will be used for modules repository but, not so difficult to do...

• logos for modules (if needed) : png format, orange for old modules / blue for modules >= Xoops 2.3.x

4 • Compatibility
5 • Author name
6 • Module version
7 • Module folder name
8 • Download link
9 • Logo module original
10 • Logo module alternative (if needed)
11 • Profile developer url on xoops.org

Columns that remain to do :

About Module description page, any ideas ?

For moment :
• short description (= module usage)
• main features (= complete description)
• blocks available
• language available
• installation notes
• changelog

To manage articles, you should use a more recent module :
• Publisher (http://www.xuups.com/)
• News (http://www.xuups.com/)
• xNews (http://sourceforge.net/projects/xmodsfixnclean/files/)
• AMS (http://xoops.novasmarttechnology.com/)

What do you want to do with Smartsection exactly ?

@Defkon1 : you should try
• to desactivate Protector (directly in System / Modules). It seems there is a security parameter wich causes a blank page if there are too many products or for another reason
• to use Default admin theme (and not oxygen)
