Hi, i have XOOPS 2.0.13.2 installed and im having a little trouble with news module and catads...

when i submit a new item the time of creation should be the time of publishing.. but due to the 6 hours difference between the phisical location of my webhosting and my local time the time of publishing and creation its different so the item is set to "programated"...

i tried to change the hour in the preferences to set the same at server and local, but nothings happened,

shall anyone help me pls? it a little disturbing

ta in advance.

regards.

Have you forgotten to publish the item?!
you might have the content in there, but that does not mean that you have published any.
hit on those little green/red button(s) and see the change.

Hi..

i have a problem with catads 1.40 and myads 2.05, or maybe those modules with my server..

I can install them, admin them, but when i send and ad all its allright, no errors messages, but the list didnt display, i mean, the ads are on the db, i can see them on catads through admin interface but the user side says 0 ads.

No moderation at all, catads says published...

whats is going on here?

I donr try catads on local, but myads works fine.. whats wrong with my serveR?

im using XOOPS 2.0.13.2

regards..

fixed!!

IE doesnt seem to broke the layout but FF yes, so i set this css code in the container of the text with long lines and this makes an scrool bar to appear.

Hi.. i have a estatic width layout and have notice that, in the forums, if u paste large phrases without an enter you force the layout to have more pixel width and the images in the header seems to be destroyed with spaces.

i tried to install a phpbb hack that i used into another webpage and works fine but with smarty seems not to work at all.

The hack is a javascript and special tags in the variables that content the data you want to fix to an certain width.

The js code is like this:

typeof window.onload == "function")
    {

mw3_old_onload window.onload;
    }

window.onload = function()
    {

// run the aliens onload

if (mw3_old_onload)
        {

mw3_old_onload();

mw3_old_onload null;
        }

mw3_viewtopic();
    }
}

Then i put this code before the variable that contents the post

<mwthree style="display:none"></mwthree>

but nothing happens..

the js catch the mwthree tags and try to set to a given td or div width, mine is like this in template
td colspan="2" class="odd" width="500px">
<
div class="comText">    <mwthree style="display:none"></mwthree><{$topic_post.post_text}></div>

any help will be apreciated

You have to access this data in the variable $_POST['testformdata']

For example look at this code on changepass.php from profile module:

$xoopsUser->setVar('pass'md5($_POST['newpass']));
