Are you sure that the version of CBB works with the dead-end v 2.2.4 of XOOPS?

That can be the case... you'll just have to adjust the settings such that you get the desired results.

But hacking the code is certainly the wrong first approach. You'll never upgrade successfully from a severly hacked module, unless your a php guru.

Ahh... welcome to the world of programming.

You'll have to dissect both DBs and perform a mapping. I can pretty much guarantee that your Forums will be all but impossible to convert. The DB on the XOOPs side has changed A LOT since v1.

You might be better off just srchiving the old Forums and starting over. Next time, I'd recommend keeping things a bit more current than the every 4 year upgrade.

Personally, I'd re-write the entire site starting fresh.

You can use csv files to transfer any data that might be compatible or write your own sql scripts.

Having done this numerous times, it's really not that onerous a task.

Try the following:

1. Reinstall your system from the System/Modules area. Then see if the problem is fixed. If not..
2. Clean your cache and templates_c directories out (delete everything in them). Redo Step 1.

Often this helps.

No hack required. Read the XOOPS documentation on use of the Admin Blocks functions:http://xoopsdocs.net/modules/docs/

You should see everything you need in there somewhere.

Just empty the cache folders (cache and templates_c). They'll rebuild themselves with use. At the same time this might fix your problem. I'd say you might have wine... not lemonade.

I'd really work on getting a better theme. Given you are in the photography business, with this site, you really need something smooth and eye-candy-ish.
