Yes it worked fine BUT..... somehow it does not show up in the Templates Set Manager which in the System Options block like any ordinary module, although as said it is working fine and I can update results, teams etc. Used this module in other XOOPS versions and always showed up in the templates set manager.
Is this has to do with the databese? or are there any hacks (or files) that I can alter in this module?

I will wait for Herve.......in the meantime I would like to tell you that I have used both tplleaguestats and Liga Manager Online 2.2 successfully...... I will look at the sample_module and give it a try.

Have been using XOOPS for 3 years and worked wanders for me cannot see anyone using a better cms than xoops

I did contact Herve but had no reply so far. Can anyone atleast guide me to find how can I be able to build a module. I have downloaded the module 'xbs_modgen' but it does not work on any XOOPS even version 2.14.

Is there a similar module to build other XOOPS modules from it?

Kind of desperate here folks!!!

I need to have a module for a club that organises horse racing and they need a type of a module where they can have the following:
Jockey's profile
Horse Profile
Race Date and time
Classification showing points for each race one

Plus other options like:
statistics time etc
forthcoming races

Where should I start does anyone ever tried to create a similar module?
This has nothing to do with betting.....just a club that needs to have an online presence showing the results as they come out.

thats what I did put everything that was in the Class folder in the xoops/class and the Player folder in XOOPS root...nothing happend even after loging in and updating the system modules I am using v 2.18.2

Any help please as I really need to use this fab hack

I have downloaded your fine hack and after extracting I have the following folders
htdocs
/class /player/player /player2
/class/textsanitizer/mp3
/class/xoopseditor/dhtmlext

I cannot find any read me files perhaps if you direct me to them please.....

I am using PD downloads and even tried WF downloads....all seems to have aproblem ti upload a powerpoint presentation with .ppt or .ppt extension

any ideas how to solve this problem????

I have noticed that your version is 9 mine is flash 8 not sure if that is the reason. but it should work for you. The swf file I am using in this example is the one at the very bottom under the address. The top one was embeded in a block.

You need to tell the script where the swf is I presume that you have uploaded it in the uploads folder
