blank home page after having installed ExtCal

After having ExtCal version 2 installed when going to my home page I get a blank screen. I have the latest version of XOOPS installed.

other modules I have installed are:

multi menu : version 1.74
my iframe: version 1.4
smartsection: version 2.11
wf downloads: version 3.1
php myadmin: version 2.51
database tools: version 1.1
antidos: version 1.1

Anyone have an idea what the problem could be? if I remember right if you have a blank page there's a problem with php right?but my php has been working fine, and haven't been having any problems with it. well, I donno. hope to get some replies. thanks!

Why does my database get an internal error every few days?and I backedup all my files including:apache,php, XOOPS and mySQL. but everytime I load my backsup, they never seem to work either.

smartsection module: creating catergory?

I have smartsection module installed. In order to create an article I have to create a category, but the problems is everytime I create a catergory I get an error message saying

:

" An error occured while saving the category. Here is a list of error(s) :
If the page does not automatically reload, please click here"

Anyone have the same problem or knows what the problems is?

lol actually it wasn't the solution I was looking for. I just tried something different, which was trying out smartsection, the one you said u were using
