Assuming you installed greek language pack for XOOPS:

in every module's language folder, copy "english" folder to a new one named "greek", then just open the files in your new folder and translate the text.

This is what I do to translate to spanish and it works fine this way.

This is just a CSS problem. Check the style class of the submenu items, then check they exist in Kris' "style.css" file. If they do exist, then check the code really make a difference, and it's not just a copy of the main menu CSS code.

I've got an idea, need some opinions.

What about reading a cookie? Suppose session cookie is the same for all sites. Could it be done this way, reading a Cookie that is common to all sites I create for this customer?

Multiple XOOPS sites, one login?

Regards.

Suppose a bunch of sites. All sites are related to a University Department. All them are controlled by different people and all them want full control over their small "feuds" because, well, that's the way they do things here.

One of these sites has been shown in YAXS section, here:http://www.ugr.es/local/ncog

At last some of them have understood that having to log into five different sites is a piss-off, but now it's too late: I need a way to get one login to rule them all. They create just one user account, and they are then registered in all Department sites. No creating five accounts, no writing your user and pass five times, no nothing.

I've looked LDAP and all this, but I understood almost nothing.

Suggestions, please, this is clearly over my knowledge.

I lost debug console!

Hi everyone.

Yes, I lost debug console.

I'm using XOOPS EXM (2.0.16) in a new site. Form the admin side, it uses EXM theme, and I can view my debug console as usual, but from the user side, using my own theme (a XOOPS EXM theme copy, paths fixed and then modified), I can't see the debug console, no matter it is inline or popup window style.

Surprisingly enough, I CAN SEE SMARTY CONSOLE from both sides, user and admin. It's only PHP debug console the one that doesn't appear.

Isn't it weird? What's wrong?

Impressive, wtravel. Ability to add custom fields is... well... it seems the "final solution" for everyone.

Will this accept image upload for every entry in the directory?

XOOPS is right for this task. Just choose the right module for htis task.

I have to say WF-Sections is not a good choice for this task, as it's development is officially stopped in favour of Smartsections. Your best choices are News, as it's good yet simple, SMartsection, complicated but full of features, and phppp' Article, that has multidimensional classification of documents but no file uploads, so think carefully.

Where's the problem?

XOOPS default distribution comes with no modules installed. You succesfully installed XOOPS, so now you have to download and install the modules you need.

Yes.

And if I read that correctly it will cancel out all borders and lines.

No, it doesn't. It only cancels cell borders, but not table borders. That's the trick, cells and table borders are independent properties.

I can't believe there is a code to insert site url just like XOOPS_URL constant.

I should have discovered it a bit sooner.

Put this in the FAQ, for God's sake.
