Oh my oh my..

I searched and noone seems to really got around this proble except running back to old PHP which i am not able to do because my host would certainly not move to a lower versiona just because of myself..
And they claim that they resolved the problem and that they have XOOPS installation working. Here's the link they gave me as a proofhttp://www.shopcentar.hr/xoops/

They told me to replace function &clone with function__clone and that it worked for the it should work for me, but it doesn't.. i then get this:

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_FUNCTION in /home/libervis/public_html/kernel/object.php on line 529

Thank you

Indeed.. it's because the problem has been shifting from this to that.. and i finally got the cleare picture of what was happening and now can identify the main causes of the problem.. however the problem may be rather big one.

My host has just upgraded to PHP 5 which cause all this server mumbo jumbo and now it seems like XOOPs has found itself in an unknown territory.. suddenly normal 2.0.7. system won't work properly.

Now i get:

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_CLONE, expecting T_STRING in /home/libervis/public_html/kernel/object.php on line 528

everywhere on the site.
I tried to replace clone with string in that line specified in that error but it generated blank pages which you saw.

It now becomes an issue of XOOPS compatibility with PHP 5.0.1.

Can anyone help in the matter, does and if yes, how, does XOOPS supports PHP 5.0.1
Thank you
Daniel

This is becoming really funny, if it wasn't worrying..

When i browse with Konqueror it all works fine, and when browsing with firefox it gives me that stupid open dialog even though site is accesbile through it now except if you go through FF...

I still don't get the problem, but since there're way more FF users than Konqueror users, this is still a serious problem..

Does anyone here uses Firefox? Would you please check if you can open my site throughhttp://www.libervis.com properly??

Thank you very much
Daniel

Hell no.. i really don't know what the heck is happening there, just finished typing the above message and now suddenly the whole freaking site is out of reach.. And i didn't touch anything except tried to make a redirect in cpanel fromhttp://www.libervis.com/ tohttp://www.libervis.com/index.php?

Now i get dialogs telling me that it's refusing connection.

Hello..

I can't believe this is happening

When i type www.libervis.com or anywhere follow that link to my site i get a prompt dialog that says: "You have chosen to open ..which is a: application/x-httpd-php"

And when i type and try to acces throughhttp://www.libervis.com/index.php i get the same only it says "which is a: php script"

The only way i can acces my homepage is throughhttp://www.libervis.com/index.php? with that "?" at the end...

Now, i use kenogui modrewrite hack and i though it could have something to do with it, but i removed it and i have the same problem.
However, when i remove it it makes me alot of damage because i recently published an article that was fed in linuxtoday.com, lxer.com through modrewritten link which points to 404 page if modrewrite hack is removed..so i can't do that.
It seems it's not a problem anyway..
What to do? Do you have any clue on this? Please respond quickly!

I also had some problems last night with dialogs not automatically reloading so you have to click "here" link to do it, now it suddenly reloads fine, but i can't access the site through main domain name.

I HATE these stupid ghosts around my site or whatever.

EDIT: This problem seems to be identified, but not solved.. now it's about PHP 5.0.1 compatibility with XOOPS 2.0.7.

Thank you for any help!
Daniel

Pass with your mouse above system admin module and in the menu that pops up click "banners". It's your banner management area (duh)
There, when you create new banner advertiser client you have the ability to add username and password for it. That's actually how you create a new account for advertisers where they're then able to login and view their stats on banner impressions and clickthroughs and stuff.

What's the banner client login URL?

Just a short question with a hopefully short and fast answer.

What's the login URL for banner advertising clients. I can enter the password and username inside the banner management administration area, but i don't know where the clients actually login?

Thank you

Finally it works!

All blocks in modules are displayed below module content. i wanted it only for forums, but it's not a big deal. I'll remove the intros on FAQ, they probably don't read it anyway. For other blocks in other modules it's fine to be below instead of top.

The most important thing is that i'm gonna have a much effective adsense now with ads displaying below every post in forums which are the most populated part of a site.

Thank you very much Jack! Cheers to you!

I see, that's great. I did want to put it in the center-center block, it makes it much more controlable..

However, i get the empty column instead of forums now..
Here's the whole theme.html if i did something wrong.

I uploaded the changes i made.. firstly i obviously made some mistakes because everything was wrong, the left column was wider and the right was moved to top.. but ok, i checked and did it again so now it's with changes you talked me through till now.

However, now when i upload those changes i get the empty center column in forums.

I guess it's because we didn't finished the process you had in mind for this.

I'll wait for your reply..

Thank you
Daniel
