Sorry----------

I'm having problems whereby users cannot log on. I suspect it's my database. My question is, if I delete my database and run the install program for XOOPS again, will I loose the modules that I've downloaded and installed???

Also, I've just went to my page from work..and it said 14 people were on there..WHICH I KNOW IS SIMPLY NOT TRUE...
maybe 1 person...maybe......so why would it show 14 people????????????

If I did the install over again...but first dropped the database........would I lose all my modules that I've installed????? I think this would fix the registration log in problem. I've tried looking for this:

xoops_modules

set the value of isactive to 0 then go to the main site and login again

everything seems to start with letters and numbers in front like this:

28l9Q27_agendax_cat
28l9Q27_agendax_event_repeats

ok...I'm not sure I understand exactly..but no users can log into my site...I've seen a couple of posts on this...but I don't understand how to fix...When users click on register they get this error:

Sorry, you don't have permission to access this area.

On a side note: When I first installed this program last week, users were able to log in. Than I found too many modules didn't work....so I uninstalled this program but left the database intact. When I decided to give XOOPS another try---I'm thinking maybe I should have deleted the database..but I didn't. What might some of my options be at this point please. thanks

(i've used phpnuke dragonfly and loved that program...but wanted a change..and yours is easier to manipulate..but modules are difficult to understand and so many errors..but i'm trying to stick it out..thanks..)

Hello,

I'm new to XOOPS and am struggling with every single module. Most seem to need modifing to some degree...Some are so hard I've had to just uninstall....I'm stuck on this one..I have three messages at the bottom..Oh the program is

Xoops stats 0.45

Here are the error messages. How might I fix please?

Notice [PHP]: Undefined offset: 1 in file modules/statistics/include/hitcounter.php line 58

Notice [PHP]: Undefined index: query in file modules/statistics/include/hitcounter.php line 64

Notice [PHP]: Undefined index: fragment in file modules/statistics/include/hitcounter.php line 68

oh good grief..that's what I thought..thanks very much..

so to summarize...

your install zip files

are like this:

docs
html

so move every file from there and put them into

public_html

Hello,

I cannnnnot wait to try your program. I was able to install easily,..no prob...
but
I've really messed up the directory and have tried fixing it a few times to no avail..
heres the scoop:

my servers files goes here:

public_html

so I installed everything to there..so your files are listed as such:

/public_html/html

anyway, I ran the install...public_html/html/install/install_whatever.php right..

and no prob..am able to install

but when i go to my domain...www.blbal.com whatever ok..
it's not there..i can only see my site if i go
www.blbal.com/html
how can i fix this

I have moved all the files to public_html/
but now i'm lost..i took everything from html and moved it to public_html

does this make sense to anyone? How might i fix please..
