System broke down???

When I was adding an article this morning in the module Soapbox I was after pressing the post button redirected to my home page and the article wasn't posted.
Normally you get a message from the system if the article is posted or not, but no message this time....
I have tried it several times but every time the same result.

So I went to the system settings to turn on the debug mode but no response at all!!

I went back to see if it really was turned on but it wasn't , so I did it again, but again no debug mode and no message from the system as well.

If I tried to turn off the site but that doesn't work either. Same thing.

Can anybody please help me?

My xoops version is 2.5.6 and all modules are up to date.

Btw in my previous post i said


[size=x-large]blabla[/size]

didn't work either but that was my fault

it does!

It is the " that gives problems but a ' to.

@Mamba
Maybe the checkbox Enable html doesn t work?

Great module I like it alot, but there is a little problem.

I am going to use it as a blog on my site.

Problem however is when i place an image like so


<img style="blabla" scr="blabla" />

it doesn't work. For some reason he changes the code in


<img style=backslash"blablabackslash" scr=backslash'blablabackslash' />

( '\' doesn't display so i'm writing it in letters)

so in fact he can't handel ""


<h1>blabla</h1>

works perfect

but when i am using


[size=x-large]blabla[/size]

it is just displayed with the code tags..

anyone a idea? or experiencing something the same?

it has to be someting like this but unfortunatly i have no knowledge in programming php.

this code reads the current url

and then the script has to read the outcome and if it reads page X he has to write the according image.....I think.

Well I keep looking, it would be nice having this function in my site, that way I can show and inform my visitors more relative pictures/information .

Hi,

I want people to see image 1 in the header of my theme when there are on pagehttp://.....smartsection/item.php?itemid=103 and image 2 for example onhttp://.....smartsection/item.php?itemid=1 or image 3 forhttp://.....myhome/index.php

I have seen there is a theme changer available but that isn't really handy for I want to display quite a few different images fore there specific pages.

Anybody a idea?

I have found a possibility herehttps://xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?viewmode=thread&topic_id=28780&forum=27&post_id=126941

But this options reads only in which module the visitor is browsing, I need to have that code changed in it reading the page and directing the right image onto the header.

Well I just found out my host has double my webspace, so I am going to make a different site in French to have the same affect.

Hi all.

I want to display a news block on my home page based on which language is used.

I have a site which runs very well fore years now on xoops and am very pleased about it. I am using xlanguage fore changing languages. All our news is displayed in dutch but we want to begin writing and displaying news in another languages too.
Fore that I thought making a different category in the news module fore each language so it is all nicely separated.

But how do i do this, how do i get xoops to display only ,for example, the french news block on the home-page?

Hi Ghia,

protector says I had to make /xoops_lib/modules/protector/configs writeable just like did but unfortunately it didn't make any difference.
And deactivating it doesn't work either.
