In newbb_viewforum.tpl on line 19 I changed:
<{if $viewer_level gt 1}>
to
<{if $viewer_level gt 0}>
This seamed to work. Is this the correct thing to do?

Cheers,
Marty

I got this error again...

Notice: Undefined variable: topicHandler in file /modules/newbb/class/post.php line 634
I added Trabis code.

Try adding the line:
$topicHandler = xoops_getModuleHandler('topic', 'newbb');
before
$thread_action = array();
 // irmtfan add pdf permission

in class class/post.php around line 623.

It appears this has fixed the problem.

There are quite a few NewBB templates missing in the xBootstrap theme.

Does anyone have the full set of NewBB templates for xBootstrap theme in Xoops core install files? I have been looking at the templates in /modules/newbb/ and really don't understand how they work.

Cheers,
Marty

I'm not getting any errors, Just the "New Topic" button is replaced with the "Register" button.

Maybe it's a template problem...

Where can I get a copy of the templates used here at Xoops.org?

I created a test user. This test user can reply to topics but cannot start new topic. I have set permissions so that registered users can start a new topic but I cannot. As admin user I can start a new topic no problems.

I do have these errors in debug on the forum index page though.

Notice: Undefined offset: 1 in file /modules/newbb/class/forum.php line 805
Notice: Undefined offset: 2 in file /modules/newbb/class/forum.php line 805
Notice: Undefined offset: 3 in file /modules/newbb/class/forum.php line 805
Notice: Undefined offset: 4 in file /modules/newbb/class/forum.php line 805
Notice: Undefined offset: 5 in file /modules/newbb/class/forum.php line 805
Notice: Undefined offset: 6 in file /modules/newbb/class/forum.php line 805

Are these notices for developers and no need to worry?

My apologies, I had a problem with some apache extensions.

Everything appears to be fine

Again, I apologise for any confusion I may have caused.

XOOPS Version XOOPS 2.5.8
PHP Version 5.6.30
mySQL Version 5.6.35
NewBB 4.33 RC 13

When I post I get a blank page with this error:
Fatal error: Call to a member function getPermission() on null in /modules/newbb/class/post.php on line 634

Debug says this:
Notice: Undefined variable: topicHandler in file /modules/newbb/class/post.php line 634

I have set and double checked the permissions. Should I be using an earlier version?

Cheers,
Marty

The player is not showing up but I get this text: "www.radionomy.com redirected you too many times".

On Windows 10 desktop.
