Ok but what about

Quote:
What is Default level on your site? Which group(s)?

If default level is intended for everyone then set the allow rights for that level in AMS to everyone AND ALSO logged in users.

Don't now if it will work but you can try.

Make every member an author, don't give them moderator rights (except for the webmaster offcours).
On the AMS preferences page set Auto approve articles without admin intervention

You can have authors and moderators.
Authors can post articles but not publish them.
Moderators can post / publish and approve articles based on their priviliges for a certain topic.
If i understand you right the member group can approve?
Then these members can edit / publish / approve articles based on their priviliges for a certain topic.
You can always post your questions on the AMS support site http://xoops.novasmarttechnology.com/
Latest version is also 2.42

Here we go again
Everything was going well and now it starts again.
Can't we have a team to deal with does things?
So they can be looked at before accusations are trown into the forums.
True or not everybody deserves a trial before getting shot.

Setting the expiry date is done by two things.
First set the expiry date
Second don't forget to check the checkbox of the expire date

If you forget the checkbox is doesn't work.
