I had the exact same problem a while ago. Originally my database name is data_xoopstest, but everytime I try to submit it I get the same error message that you get. So what I did was I entered data_xoopstest2 (data_xoopstest2 is not yet created) and I get the same error message, THEN I entered the original database name data_xoopstest that I created earlier. POOF! it works! This is from a fresh install.

nidos, thanks! I tested it out myself too. Catads 1.4 and ecGallery 1.1 works on XOOPS 2.3 Final.

Does Catads 1.4 and ecGallery works on XOOPS 2.3 Final? I don't have any server to test them to. Just wondering has anyone updated their XOOPS with 2.3 FINAL with the above mentioned modules?

hi! i would like to ask if there is a way to make the [img] tag to work on both uppercase and lowercase? could't find:

$patterns[] = "/\[img]([^\"\(\)\?\&'<>]*)\[\/img\]/sU";

in Frameworks\textsanitizer\module.texsanitizer.php

help?

admin nick re-registered

ok a few weeks ago i was checking my email for new registered users and to my surprise found my admin nick on the list. someone has re-registered under my admin nick. i couldn't log-in, tried to re-register it myself but the site gave me error messages that the nick was already taken and it was a reserved nick. now i wonder why the user who re-registered the nick didn't get the same error message that i got? or it was probably than through a security hole?

so what i did was i used the forgot password link, the good thing about it was it still sent the email to my admin email account. so i got the nick back and demoted the admin nick to a regular nick. i won't be exposing my admin nick in public after what happened. what you guys think?

Hi! I would like to request a user feedback system like ebay which enables users to leave feedbacks on each other. positive, neutral and negative. also the average of the feedback would be displayed.

Is there a hack that could make the comments act like a feedback system adding the positive, neutral and negative options?

This would be great on Catads module

I want to add a new field in the user registration where the user has to re-enter his email address. Once he clicks on submit button the server will check if the user has entered two identical email addresses on both email fields. You guys are probably familiar with this

ok hehehe... i've changed the body to this:

body{
font-size: 12px;
font-family: Verdana, Tahoma;
line-height: 1.6em;
text-align: center;
margin: 0;
padding: 5px;
}

but the thing is... The whole theme changed... I only want the textarea to change and not the whole theme... I have also tried putting in textareat{ font-size: 100%; } but no luck... thanks in advance!
