Both make use of the BOOX module to display the top and bottom navigation. This makes for easy editing via the admin. The HTML template feature of TinyEditor 1.0 allowed us to create many templates for the client to choose when creating pages.

Both are client maintained.

How does one get a 'Friend of Xoops' ranking?

You can use TinyEditor 1.0 with X2.0.15-6. You can download it at The Dev section

Get all the plugins you want also especially the imanager since this will let you upload images. Follow the installation and tool setup instructions and set permissions.

To mak it work globally (not all modules will display it) edit class/xoopsform/formdhtmltextarea.php line 74. Change the array to exactly what you see in line 72.

Now you should see the editor in your blocks admin area.

A neat fixed size theme

This template is designed for sites which don't need or have little or no user interaction. Mainly for informational purposes. It's key purpose is to let the site owner use the powerful yet userfriendly abilities of the XOOPS 'back office' system to maintain the site without reliance on a Webmaster.

It is fixed size at 800w x 580h and uses a single background image for each page. Smarty switches determine which background is displayed. Many variations can be done with this method.

The buttons are images which use a rollover javascript for motion effects.

Only the center column is used within a scrolling DIV so there are limits to it's use. This demo only makes use of the 'Easypage' module and contact module. Significant CSS editing will be needed to work with various modules as it is designed to let the background standout.

The linear usermenu is also used

An alternating theme

This template is designed to display variable styles and themes. If you want to have modules appearing with different colors, background, images and fonts then this will work perfectly. There are 3 stylesheets that alter selected pages. These css are selected with Smarty switches.

Six header images rotate randomly by a javascript each time a page except the home page is loaded. The script is a random content type so links can be added to the images and with imagination anything can be added for rotation

The BlockTitles are commented out so that different title designs can be implemented using the editor (we use tinyEditor)

The left and right columns are immediately beside each other and the center column is on the right. The center left and right blocks exist with Fieldset borders.

The login/registration link and usermenu is at the foot of the page.

Added:
We just added an alternative version which features fixed height and auto scrollbars within a div. This is for those sites that like that neat look.

A Xoops site emulating a shopping cart

The client bought a template made for Zencart but didn't want the 3 page checkout process of Zen so they got a service from 1shopping cart which offers single page checkout without registration.

They wanted the site to look like a store and be able to make changes when needed without relying on a webmaster so we created a theme from the template they bought.

It uses WFChannel to display the products and copies of easypage for other pages.

Thanks for the review Wizanda. The site is not yet public and so all the little bugs will be zapped. The cart will eventully have the proper links and the banner will be changed. What you saw was just the standard template we install free for all clients.

This client sent us a design which they wanted to be a XOOPS theme. It had 3 different sized column and blocks with different colors and styles.

To achieve this we applied smarty tags with lots of <{if}> within the theme file includes to display blocks based on pre-defined titles.

Party promoters in Cayman . Not yet public. Reviews appreciated.
