Right after I posted this I found where I had found my answer:

My problem had to do with the re-direct from www.mysite.com to mysite.com (without the www in front) I had to correct it to include the www when it would refresh or redirect. Then I had to clean my templates_c files and the update the system module as well. And poof I was back in no time at all.
