I looked in the xoops_user table, found my entry which is the only entry. I have a 5 in the Level field. I am going to try 5 for me, 4 for a moderator. See what happens.

I guess what I am suppose to use for the userid field is uname. But, I guess the next problem is to configure the fields that determine the Admin/Moderator/Spy level. I believe that would be the Level field in Xoops. Does anyone know the Webmaster/Member/Anonymous choices to go in this MySQL field.

I assume the MySQL user name for authentication is the uname field. If I am wrong, can someone tell me.

I assume the level field is what determines the XOOPS group ie)Webmaster, registered, anonymous Can someone tell me the values that go in this field to determine the different levels. ie)Webmasters=?, Moderators=? or whatever? Thanks...

I just installed Xooops 2.2.3 It comes with two modules; extended profiles is one. If you do not add Extended Profiles, leaving it uninstalled, you come up with a login screen. I hit the register under the login and got a white page. Does anyone know if this is normal? If not, is there an upload that I can make from the install to correct it? Thanks...

Xoops 2.2.3 is a very nice upgrade. However, can someone tell me what the "All Frontpages" means when you choose that as the visible place of the block. You have Top Page, which is the Home page for either the surfer or the registered user, you have the admin page witch is obvious, and you have auxillary pages added by each module. But, what the heck are Frontpages. Thanks...

userid field for db

I am installing FlashChat and to input the userid or uid for integration with the database:

A. The administrator id =
B. The Moderator id =
C. The Spy id =

Does anyone know what this might be. It does not seem reasonable that it would be the id, since there is only one id per login. Has anyone an idea of what I would need to put here. There is login and password.

Nevermind, I have a solution. You can use the editor in WF Channel "Link To Us" to put a link to the submit form for WF Links.

Thanks for the info... Does any of these three methods allow integration into submit a link for WF Links. Or do you have to use Content to add the submit link page to it, or possibly multimenu?

On the Liens module, how can I get it working? It appears to have an install bug in it. So does Link to Us. Man! is that a nice site you built.

Does anyone know anything about the Link To Us module? Or Liens Module if it is about the same? Neither seemed to work. Has anyone got a bug free copy of a module that allows other webmasters to take a link before they add their URL?
