Userinfo.php shows cbb forum posts even to anonymous users

I have called this a "bug report" even though technically it might not be a bug...

I use Xoops 2.4.2 and CBB 3.08.

The CBB forum is only visible to logged-in users.

Userinfo.php shows all forum posts by a particular user.

The problem is that userinfo.php shows the titles of all the forum posts the user has made.

So anonymous users can see what topics anyone has posted about.

How can I stop this from happening?

Many thanks.

Yes, it did cause the same problem with Smartsection 2.14 and trabis's solution (adding a line to item.php) does solve it.

Thank you very much for raising this issue.

I've taken the liberty of marking this thread "solved"!

I'm using multimenu 1.82 with 2.3.3 and it seems to work OK.

Just a quick update. I found a directory root/htdocs... I had copied htdocs/ (rather than its contents) into root when upgrading 2.3.2b to 2.3.3.

So I have just done
3. Copy "2.3.2b to 2.3.3" files
4. Run /upgrade/ ("nothing needed")
5. Update system module (various db changes made)

It says "2.3.3 © 2001-2009" now!

I hope I have by now upgraded successfully. It seems to work fine, by the way.

P.S. Thanks for the help, and sorry for being stupid!

Thanks. Just to clarify, what I thought I had done was:
1. Copy "2.3.2a to 2.3.2b" files
2. Run /upgrade/ ("nothing needed")
3. Copy "2.3.2b to 2.3.3" files
4. Run /upgrade/ ("nothing needed")
5. Update system module (various db changes made)

A. root/include/version.php:
<?php
// $Id: version.php 2519 2008-11-27 12:32:19Z phppp $
define("XOOPS_VERSION", "XOOPS 2.3.2");
?>

B. My 2.3.2a package
<?php
// $Id: version.php 2207 2008-09-30 06:41:41Z phppp $
define("XOOPS_VERSION", "XOOPS 2.3.2");
?>

C. My 2.3.2a to 2.3.2b package:
<?php
// $Id: version.php 2519 2008-11-27 12:32:19Z phppp $
define("XOOPS_VERSION", "XOOPS 2.3.2");
?>

D. 2.3.2b to 2.3.3 package
<?php
// $Id: version.php 2666 2009-01-10 15:27:06Z julionc $
define("XOOPS_VERSION", "XOOPS 2.3.3");
?>

Judging from the versions, I assume that I have not actually (for some reason!?) not carried out steps 1-5 at all, but have carried out 1, 2 and 5.

I am about to carry out 3, 4 and 5 now... wish me luck! Does this sound right?

Cheers.

I went from 2.3.2a to 2.3.2b tonight first, but when the /upgrade/ script said "nothing needed" I didn't upgrade system module.

Then I went from 2.3.2b to 2.3.3, again it said "nothing needed" but I realised I still needed to upgrade system module (so did it this time).

Will I have missed out anything important?

Thanks

What can I check to see if it is all OK? [EDIT It says "2.3.2 © 2001-2009" so must be fine!]

Also, when I run domain.com/upgrade/ it says no upgrade is needed - I take it that means "nothing is needed apart from THIS upgrade, so you can go ahead and upgrade the System module" ???

Thanks

Ghia, I reckon there are more than 4 date formats in xoops, but something there definitely are 4 of are files I had to alter to get it working!

JAV, Thanks once again! I never needed to alter that file before - don't understand why but just pleased it works now.

This is a question that has cropped up on the forums in the past. The old answers aren't fixing it for me with 2.3.2a - sorry!

It's about the date format in xoops. I had it fine for ages, but the 2.3.2a upgrade changed it. It's all OK again except for CBB/newbb.

I've checked the usual suspects:
XOOPS_ROOT/modules/newbb/language/english/main.php
XOOPS_ROOT/language/english/global.php
Frameworks/xoops22/language/english/user.php

All are as suggested, but still it shows the shorter date format, 11/11 etc.

Any advice??
